"Donald Trump 'Shopped Into Horror Films" Is Hilarious Nightmare Fuel

As if the idea of Donald Trump as POTUS wasn't already scary enough.

While admittedly not being very interested in politics, I think the presidential run of hotel mogul-cum-reality star Donald Trump can best be summed up in the words of the Bee Gees...

"I started a joke which started the whole world crying
But I didn't see that the joke was on me oh no
I started to cry which started the whole world laughing
Oh If I'd only seen that the joke was on me..."

Now, whether the "I" mentioned in those lyrics refers to Trump himself or America in general is a matter of personal perspective, but in either case, it would be hard to deny the impact that the "Apprentice" star has had on this year's GOP race. He was the driving force behind leading the polls in key swing states [http://money.cnn.com/2015/09/17/media/cnn-republican-debate-ratings/] like Florida, Ohio, and Pennslyvania. Crazy, right?

But you know, perhaps it's appropriate that Trump is surging up the October polls, given that this is the one month a year devoted to scaring the living bejesus out of each other. Trump is essentially the Michael Myers of immigration reform, if you think about it, and I can only imagine what ghoulish prospects he'll bring to DesignCrowd [http://www.uspresidentialelectionnews.com/2016-debate-schedule/2016-republican-primary-debate-schedule/], however, we won't have to wait until the end of the month to recoil in horrors that "The Don" hath wrought.

With over 124 entries from 62 designers, "Photoshop Donald Trump into famous horror movie scenes" is an at times hilarious, at times grotesque, but consistently on-the-nose lampooning of the current presidential hopeful. Check out a gallery of our favorite entries below, then head over to DesignCrowd [http://photoshop.designcrowd.com/contest.aspx?id=1450822&page=1&dv=grid] to see more.

And here I thought "Slasher Icons Re-Imagined as Sexy Pin-ups [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/142717-London-Artist-Re-Imagines-Slasher-Icons-as-Sexy-Pin-ups#&gid=gallery_4822&pid=1]" would be the most terrifying thing I would see all month. Way to go, Internet.

Of course, I'm going to need to see some mock-ups of the Democratic candidates as well to maintain the political objectivity required of all gaming/movie news bloggers, so if someone could photoshop Hillary Clinton into Stephen King's Misery and Bernie Sanders as Crazy Ralph from Friday the 13th, that'd be greaaaat.

Perhaps the most ironic and clever one is the where Trump is photoshoped into an Alien...

The glistening, gooey effects were well done as well.

I would absolUTELY rewatch Alien with Donald Trump as the antagonist. That's some SCP stuff right there.

I wonder if money was paid for someone to come up with this and to get the bandwagon rolling, it smells viral.

It's almost as scary as Trump in real life.

*easy joke, I can't believe nobody has made it yet*

I'd like to point out that the alien goop in that effect was made out of KY.

Which means that was an image of Donald Trump, slathered in KY, lunging forward toward a terrified woman.

Seems about right.

Why is this here?

I mean slow news week is one thing but I've been waiting for the escapist to acknowledge the existence of undertale for weeks now but I see milking some political bs like this is more important.
You are not incompetent enough not to be aware of its existence, I do not believe that.
Or maybe that's it. Which would be impressive.

Either way intentional or not, you've proven yet again that this is an unreliable gaming news site at best.
Thankfully I'm all out of room for further disappointment after dawngate. This site is comedy.

Well, you're in the "Movies & TV" section of The Escapist, so complaining about the lack of coverage for a video game here is equivalent to yelling at a sportscaster about an incorrect weather forecast.

Well it's still on the frontpage and it is more along the lines of yelling at the sportscaster for not reporting that world war 3 has broken out and that I wouldn't even know about it if the news of the channel you work for would be all I relied on to keep me informed.
I don't blame you.

I hope not. I mean Trump's bad, but at least I can look forward to him eventually being dead. Trump being SCP-682 is a personal nightmare. I sometimes kinda wish he was SCP-173 though.
