I love your avatar

I dont often play online, and only do for game slike Counter strike and left for dead. I prefer large single player worlds like Stalker and Oblivion

New Report just in: Gamers are socialble and love human company....oh wait, this thread, ah well [chucks report in bin].

I play TF2 online but not anything else, mainly because I suck at strategy and I don't have any other first person shooters except Crisis but I got that for the *ahem* story.

Online: shooters, but only very occasionally.

The online experience that did the most for me was playing NWN user modules with a party of roleplayers. This was so rare and difficult to schedule that I quit though. Still it was unique.
With most online games I nolonger see purpose of killing, getting killed and respawn all the time, but in those NWN sessions you had the feeling it mattered, that you were working towards a final conclusion.

I barely play online either. I actually thought I was a little strange but it looks like there's loads of people who aren't big fans of online play either

I'm not a fan of online play. I tried it and its just not my thing. I grew up playing co-op modes of Mario World and Sonic 3 & Knuckles, so I always prefered having my friend in the same room so we could coordinate easily. Same goes with vs modes. It's more fun to have your opponent next to you (makes it easier to throw something too).

I think it's weird if the game's major selling point is the online play... but other than that it's not weird at all.
