I was thoroughly pleased from beginning to the end of the series and I'd be more than happy to see your work after this.

And one more thing, if there ends up being one more episode and the "Series Finale" is an April Fools Joke, I will be first in line to see it.

This is amazing. Shanks, you are a god. And a narcissist. Whatever.
Pulp Fiction reference was pure gold.
I want to download that music video. Hilarious how many times Lund vanished into thin air. This was satisfying on all levels.
I'm proud that I didn't check my browser tabs.
OH! The music video really reminded me of Flight of the Conchords!

Anyone else notice Bruce in the background of Kratos' Furniture Store looking straight at the camera? XD

Pulp Fiction reference, check.
grenade finale, check.
Not saying who the ultimate villain was or even caring to know was so in character for Shanks and Lund that it was hilarious.
I want to own this series.
. . . a lot.

Quick edit. Was that music video a parody of Prince or am I just crazy?
Second quicky. Oh, that sounded dirty. .. Could also be a Michael Jackson parody.
MJ and Prince are kind of like two sides of the same reversible jacket.

Hmm.

Well, I dunno' what was up with the gay kissing, and the lightsaber duel wasn't as epic as I had hoped. Also could've done without the music video...

Anyway, it was still pretty good. Definitely not a memorable conclusion for me, but I loved the series as a whole.

Good ending. Bloody nukem.
I had completely forgotten about the man upstairs. He was never that important. It was more sort of Mario dead = no leadership = win. Or something like that, I dunno.

Shanks and Lund, thanks for the great series, I hope you all go on to do more and better things, although you have set the bar pretty high.

I am going to miss the show, and I hope there is a DVD or downloadable release somewhere in the near future!

My thoughts:

The last bit was deliciously meta. Personally, I expected Ganon, what with his track record of being the "Man behind the Man", but I would have been satisfied with just about anyone. I do think, regardless of protests, that it was a bit of a cop-out, though. It's the finale, it's not like you have to worry about people catching the next episode.

On that note, why did you have to end it? I freaking LOVED this show, and there were billions of game universes you could have done. And at the rate this got released, by the time you finished a few, sequels of some of the already-done ones would have occurred. You should re-continue it, have someone find the Polybus, and hit the "Reset" button.

...Actually, I'm going to rag on the ending a bit more. What was that deal with Mario attacking Waluigi, anyways? He wakes up, sees a dead DK with a (presumably) dead Peach, and Luigi goes into the room with a plunger? That made no sense whatsoever. Plus, the fight was kinda glossed over. And why did Toad shoot Luigi anyways?

Also, a few questions about how the NPC universe worked (Despite that being a bit of a misnomer). Why did Lazer Cat have to stay dead? After the war, couldn't Shanks have made another game, where a "Lazer Angel" descends and revives him? Or for that matter, make a game chronicling their adventures, with a "Everybody gets better" at the end?

But I digress, for all of my ragging, this has been one of my favorite series, ever. Still wish you'd done more with it, though.

This had so much awesomeness! But I the ending seemed a bit rushed. (last 1-2 minutes). Also< WHY MUST YOU END! THIS SHOW HAD MORE EPICINESS THAN MOST OF THE STUFF ON TV IN THE LAST 5 YEARS!!!!

That was wackier than anyone could have anticipated. Bravo on writing yourself into a hole over the first 24 episodes, and then just giving the audience a shrug and a smile to get out of it again.

And I loved the resolution of the game character high command. Mario, Luigi, and Toad have become amazingly fleshed out characters in this series and their subplot ended with a magnificent gangster-esque bang. "But I'M A BETTER FUCKING PLUMBER!"
