So there is the list in my house which says what day what person has to clean the kitchen and today I offered to help someone with the kitchen even though it wasn't my day by drying the dishes. Now they finished washing the dishes when there were still more then half the dishes left to dry and instead of doing there job and also drying the dishes they just said 'I washed the dishes' and left the kitchen. I know that if I did that on someone I would not live it down, because everyone in my household seems to think I am incredibly lazy even though I always offer to help people and do work other people are supposed to do.

This got me thinking are there any double standards that you hate? whether they are more specific to you or more general things.

A girl can kick me in the balls without repercussion but if I punch her in the ovaries I'd be Satan himself.

all of them. mainly ones about sex and marriage. marital reforms are good. 100 years ago, everything went to the man automatically. then feminists convinced the government to make it more equal. so they did. then the feminists werent happy. so they convinced the government to make them unequal.

I know I mean all these people whining about no food and no houses, all I have to say is if you have no food and no houses you don't have to do the dishes. /sarcasm

Probably the reaction of some white, middle class males to double standards:

Double standard in their favour: "It's so great how society has advanced these days. I love being secure in my majority postition."

Double standard in the favour of women/minority groups: "Oh my god, what the fuck?! Don't you think you've TAKEN enough from me already. I'm soo disadvantaged and always have been throughout history and now you dirty feminists/insert slur here just want to keep me down derp derp derp."

there are 2 i hate.
1) girls are cool to show their emotions while guys have to bottle them up and if they show them they are called wussies or weaklings
fuck i know i have had moments where i want to explode on people but i can't because it isnt manly

2) its cool for minority/women/gays to talk about white people but not vice versa
im a mixed guy. i am black white hispanic and some other things mixed in there and i love comedy, stand up mainly. i had a comedy i think it was bobby collins or nick dipalo who said it

Very much this. I find it dumb how some people just have this preconception that women can't and shouldn't control their emotions and that men must repress their emotions or else they're sissies. It's stupid.

You should never be totally ruled by your emotions, nor should you repress them.
