Oh, you so have to name him Mr. Bubbles. That would be the greatest thing ever.

Another vote for Mr Bubbles. But give him a cool first name, too: Serpentdoom, Darkblood, or something. Or Slayer - Slayer Bubbles.

Bob Dragonbane.
Alternatively replace Bob with something that isn't a bad joke.

Mr Bubbles.

Also you should probably watch this video:

If your DM knows what hes doing he'll make dragons powerful, especially if a character is a dragon slayer.

Dovahkiin?

More seriously, George.

Even more seriously, pick something medieval and unassuming. Most "famous" mythological names are associated with various deeds after the fact (see, George); doing the same in your case would lend authenticity to the character.

If you really want to role play as a mysterious character that is famous for dragonslaying, isn't it the best option to simply be considered nameless except for your alias itself? But that's just my point of view considering my thought-processes in heavy roleplaying.

Also one tip if you want to back up your alias with actual skills of dragonslaying, never ever let the dragon get out of the cave. In other words, never ever let it fly. Although that's only necessary if your DM took tons of notes from Tucker's Kobolds.

I agree, dragons are noble and lovely creatures. This character had better be portrayed as a bastard for killing them.

Though I suppose if I must...

Make it clear it's a nickname, something like Balroth the Dragon Slayer or Morguth the Incombustible or Tamrenth the Slightly Crispy.

It would kind of help to know a bit more context. Are we allowed to ge full on George Martin with these names? Because in that case I'd call him Quanyrtaeon the Despicable Raping Befouler, or is it more LotR? So something like Balon the Conquerer will suit.
