EA Unveils the First Sims 3 Expansion Pack

Its nice to see them throwing a lot in an expansion, but its still a little bit early in my book, seeing as the game is only about 2 months old...



And I bet the milk is sour.

While this doesn't come as a surprise, it's still pretty damn ridiculous. As said above, this expansion pack was clearly finished, or at least nearly finished, when the game shipped, and as such should probably have been included in the original release. I suppose this marks the first stage of EA's quest to get as much money out of their customers as they possibly can.

Let the milking commence!

Boring, gimmicky and difficult to write challenges for.

That was a surprisingly more original than i thought for their first add on i thought they would just rehash pets or something.

Wonder if they will get into trouble for stereotyping other cultures. the stereotype bartering in the Bazaar isn't a promising start.

This is merely a copy-paste of the "Vacation" and "Bon Voyage" EPs from previous generations. The fact that they are making it play line a Single Player MMO is new, and nauseates me to no end. Going to give this one a miss.

From what I have heard, EA finishes all the components that they wanted to put into a SIM title. After that, they will remove it again and package those components as expansion packs. All that is left would be the core game, with nothing but the barebones of the whole game. In short, it's an evil ploy.
