Yes, because APPARENTLY Call of Duty is this generation's Star Wars.
Even if it's not as popular, I still like other EA games like Dead Space much better than Halo and CoD.

It's not really surprising that Schappert isn't expecting to crush the opposition, as Call of Duty and Halo are both enormous brands, and while the Medal of Honor series has its fans, expecting it to triumph over two giants of the genre is just unrealistic. Medal of Honor, Halo: Reach and Call of Duty: Black Ops are all scheduled for release next fall.

What?! Rainbow Six had the worst cover system ever. It gave the person in cover the biggest advantage over some one who is not in cover, they have a 3rd person camera in a 1st person game. All they need to do is put the Crosshair in the spot some one will run out of, pop out and get an instant headshot. All while they are nice and safe behind the wall.

Still better than no cover system at all. But come to think of it the cover system for Killzone would be better. The only problem with Killzone was that they would not let you use the cover system online for some reason.

I'm quite mixed on this. I don't want to be opinionated in the sense that I have not played the recent EA FPS games (no online for some, just haven't played Dead Space, ect.). On the other hand, I really don't like EA's whole vibe after seeing what they've done for so long. Maybe some parts are turning around better of the entire company, but in either case, I will say that it is nice that they are not blowing smoke. Who would want to see them act arrogant, spouting their mouth off about COD/Halo "killers" and then not deliver?

I never played online, but the SP cover experience really added to the immersion because I quickly learned (as you would expect in real life) "Oh, I can see them! ... #$*& They can see/shoot me!!!" Innovations and deviations from the standard console shooter formula make me more interested then just the next in a few series that I feel need to call it quits soon.

Crazy thing is, there is a realistic version of a cover system akin to killzone in the game F.E.A.R. . Weird how it still hasn't been implemented as normal yet.

The only reason I'm interested in Medal of Honor: Lumberjack is because the title interests me. Besides that it looks like an inevitable, desperate, and pathetic entity - any vibrancy long lost due to undead coorperate bastards. Oh hey there EA! I was just talking about you!

Medal of Honor may have a shot if they get rid of that fucking Linkin Park song.

Man, how I wish we lived in a world where the above statement was true.

Well the trailer has succeeded in making the game look awesome. I'll probably only buy if Sainsburys do another £26 offer or wait until it comes down to that price.

To me they've got the only interesting FPS, in the form of Crysis 2.

He's right! No one can destroy such a sheer amount of generic-ness!

Personally I'm not happy that they are making another LOLREALSIM FPS because there are sooooooooooooooooooo many we really don't need another. It will have to be REALLY good to impress me. unless it's really good and beats another franchise into the dust to balance out how many of these war games are around

All I'm saying is it's been done to death. between bc2 and cod 3984239 we dont really need another unless its on par with Half Life 2 or something.
