I never considered it but.... what if kids start liking stupid games and, in response, developers stop making the stuff I like. What if my kids like the terrible games I abhor? Should I lock them in the attic and force them to play SNES until their eyes bleed?

I was just thinking about something like this the other day, but it was more to do with the fact that there will be kids growing up that will never experience the great things that shaped most of our childhoods. It made me a little sad.

I would say that it won't happen for a bit. Games grew up with the older generation and we still have the larger amount of disposable income. My only problem is that a lot of the games are polish first, then gameplay because too many people these days require the graphics to be great.
