Have you ever discovered things that the developers of a game never intended to occur? If so, what was it and how cool was it? Also, how did you find it?

Having never patched the the game whilst I had it, I don't know whether it is possible to do this in a patched version; in other words, I don't know whether anyone else ever found this. I thought this was pretty cool anyway. Obviously in the story mission, you often have units of multiple factions, not necessarily captured ships. I found that in instant action and multiplayer you could have the Klingons on your side as well as whatever faction you were, providing you weren't Species 8472 or Klingon (obviously)
How to do it:
1) Capture a Klingon starbase or construction ship
2) Build a shipyard, a research centre, one of those assault ships (forget the name) that could launch commando pods and do the research for said commando pods.
3) Get a Klingon construction ship to have as few crew as possible and then kill the rest off.
4) Use the Klingon assault ship's ability on the derelict ship
5) Voila, it becomes Klingon crew controlled again, despite being still under your control.
Its pretty cool, but I can't exactly say its practical, considering how hard it is to do in MP (unless some helps you do it. It isn't that useful considering it does nothing other than add some variety to the voices of your ships.
