I was pretty fed up to read some politician (probably the Florida governor) boldy stating someone will pay for this damage. Fuck that noise. He and his have stood by for decades and let this problem fester. Dealing with it wasn't politically and economically attractive to them so they turn a blind eye, just to sound bombastically outraged when the inevitable crisis emerges. Twenty fucking years that toxic pool's been sitting there waiting to go wrong. If heads should roll, it needs to be government officials who think it's more important to save companies from having to clear their messes up than protect people and their environment. Until they root through and seriously find a way to deal with the hundreds more places like this guaranteed to exist, they're just full of shit.
