The Ghost Love Score [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ZRR-MerxIA], like Requiem for a Tower [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IrZUfKk_mPc], makes anything epic.

Almost antyhing by Frank Klepacki. I've always thought about choreography a fight scene to most of his music.

Requiem for a Tower, along with Lux Aeterna, is the most overblown, overused piece of music that I've ever heard. I absolutely despise Requiem for a Tower - it's loathsome and utterly pretentious.

While I'm not interested in the OP's heretical "epic music search", I think it's my responsibility to demonstrate something properly epic:

No, you can't use that to a swordfight unless you want to seem pretentious.
No you can't fight to it but you can use it as a pre-fight track, so it will make it on the list.

The first time I heard Frank Klepacki was 1992's Warriors of the Enternal Sun on the Sega Genesis. Some of the best music for the 'Genesis' days.

Lament For Beowulf-Howard Hanson

Bach's minor key organ preludes can often make a battle in a holy setting make things epic.

Be warned, many epic battles may ensue upon listening to this. Use with caution.

Well I was going to recommend Europa and Requiem for a Dream (or Tower, whatever its called). But the OP already mentioned them. So I'm out.

I guess the best suggestion that I got beyond those to is to look for movie soundtracks with epic music. Like LoTR or Star Wars. I guess movies with big battle scenes are the most likely to have music like that.
