I'm with Russ on this. Best Buy is seriously far. Nearly three times as far away as the mall. Anything that is outside my two mile sphere doesn't exist. I'm actually relatively sure the world drops off like this [http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/d/d1/Worldisflat.gif] shortly after the third exit from here.

If there isn't a Darth Vader/Obi Wan "Now I am the master" reference in this episode, I will be very, very disappointed. ;)

A new Best Buy is being erected across the street from the mall though. They have heard our pleas, and responded. If only it was a CompUSA or a Frys, life would be complete. Or a Dave & Busters, that'd be cool too.

Oh I see! So like Dave & Busters, only the folks who work there suck all of the life and fun out of having fun and playing games! And bite. But hey, you can buy transistors two aisles away from the hair dyers, full line of Wonka candies and drop token in the crane grabber!

Dude, this is gold. DIBS!

Dave & Busters is essentially a giant coin op arcade for adults, complete with bars and full-service dining. Fry's is quite simply the best electronics superstore in America, with everything you could possibly need to build a computer, shop for toys for the family, build electronics from scratch, etc. They're the guys who bought Outpost, but sadly did not merge their warehouses or product offerings.

Fry's is also well known for having basically the most surly staff company-wide of any large retailer. However, it is likely because anyone you find working there knows what they're talking about, unlike so many other stores, where they hire people who can read the back of the packaging for you.

Back when I worked retail (toys'r'us) I used to pride myself on knowing more about the product (especially video games) than 95% of the people that walked through the store. Now that I have a decent paying job and have become more of a consumer, I really wish there were more people that had the same ideals that I used to have. Fry's sounds a lot like the sort of store I've been longing for, such a shame it's not an international franchise......

It's hard to build a business model on the availability of highly-intelligent, knowledgeable employees willing to work retail hours for retail wages, or are not (as I suspect you were) on their way to bigger or better things. When it happens, it's usually somewhat of an accident or else short-lived. The easier way to go is clearly the warehouse store model, like Best Buy or Home Depot, where the ignorance or surliness of your underpaid employees will be less of a liability.

Oh yeah. You're right. I guess that's why it wasn't as good and had too many characters.
Why the BioWare hate? Jeebas.
Not Bioware hate, MDK2 hate. I like Bioware. I like MDK. Bioware + MDK, however, didn't do anything for me.

Yeah, I agree. MDK2 started strong, and there were definitely some good moments, but over all...It was okay, I guess.
