Im doing my best to stop my girlfriend from seeing this but im running out of options. It ethical to chain your girlfriend up outside of the bedroom?
Is she trying to drag you along?

If so, blowing the bitches legs off with a shotgun would still be within the realms of 'self defence'.

Why is MovieBob censoring himself so much?
It ceases to be amusing when you use it too much because it's no longer a sudden aside bringing home how outraged you are, it's just how you talk; which in that case would sound stronger if you went naturally.

OH MY GOD! FINALLY! Someone other than myself gets that twilight is crap. I've read the books too, entire waste of time. I will never get back those wasted hours. Anyway, so glad to finally see someone who isn't cooing "twilight is the greatest thing" over and over. I just hope they paid you well to sit though that terrible movie. Kudos ^-^.
You think you are the only one? Browse the forums for like 2 minutes and you'll find quite allot of us aren't stupid teenage girls who buy into this crap.

erm, have you never been to the internet before? Outside of the Twilight fan forums, everyone doesn't like Twilight, heh.

I noticed you both referenced the twilight forums. Do you spend lots of time there? I sure don't. I tend to stay away from anything that has ANYTHING to do with twilight. And I have better ways to spend my time than researching twilight on the internet. So go enjoy the twilight forums that you rave about cause I sure in hell won't step foot there. As for my slight naive view on the hating of twilight, I am a middle school/high school substitute teacher who hears about it all day long. So of course it is nice to hear an adult that agrees with me after parents and kids drivel on about it all day long.

Lol, moviebob thinks hes a professional. How cute.

Take this series off the the escapist, its indicative of lowered standards and has nothing to do with games.
So if you don't like it, why watch it? There's no need to post here if you're just going to spew about how you don't like MovieBob and you don't want his videos here. Next time don't bother posting if it's just going to be "get him out!". If you don't like it, no-one's forcing you to watch it. That's all.
Even though Trivun's not one of the guys calling the series crap, reading this comment in a thread otherwise consisting of, to quote verbatim, "HATE, HATE, HATE", and "TEENAGE GIRLS ARE TERRIBLE PEOPLE BECAUSE OF THEIR TASTES AND OPINIONS", made my day. To put it another way:

I would rather watch a 12 hour porno directed by Uwe Boll and starring a platypus and a wheelchair than go anywhere near this piece of shit franchise.
Dud that seriously sounds a lot more interesting that anything Twilight can dish out.

Stephanie Meyer you are a genius. Making money from a half-ass attempt at what could be called a 'good' story. Using the fantasies of 13-year old girls to women in their 20s (pray they don't breed) and unfortunately my own mother. You can tell I wasn't happy when I returned home from UTC to find my mom wanting to go see that piss-awful joke of cinema. Oh and it looks like my "Bye-bye anger pills" are about to wear off in 3...2...1!

Stephanie Meyer you TALENTLESS HACK. YOU'VE CREATED SOME OF THEY MOST UNLIKEABLE FEMALE CHARACTERS THAT I HAVE SEEN SINCE SINCE LADY MACBETH!!! NOT ONLY HAVE YOU DESTROYED THE FASCINATING MYTHOLOGY OF THE VAMPIRE, YOU GO AND DESTROY MY FAVORITE MYTHOLOGICAL MONSTER, the WEREWOLF! YOUR WRITING, CHARACTERS, and STORIES ARE ALL PILES OF TERRIBLE AND PRETENTIOUS SHITE!

"He's in here! Grab him!" *CRASH* "Who forgot to refill his prescription?!"

NO, NO, NO! I'M NOT DONE YET! IF IT WOULD HELP, FOR THE SAKE OF FANS OF CINEMA, LITERATURE, AND RESIDENTS OF WASHINGTON, I WOULD HAVE DRIVEN A WOODEN STAKE THROUGH THIS PISS INTERPRETATION OF VAMPIRE TRIPE YOU'VE CREATED! IF BELLA WERE A REAL PERSON I'D TIE A CEMENT BLOCK AROUND HER FEET AND THROW HER OFF THE CLIFF MYSELF!ROB PATTERSON, WE WILL NEVER LET YOU FORGET THIS!

"It's okay SkullCap, here take your medicine."

ANYONE WHOSE A FAN OF THIS SERIES EITHER HAS NO DEPTH OF CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT AND LACK OF RESPECT FOR ROMANCE LITERATURE AND IS THE KIND OF BRAINLESS COOING DIPSTICK THAT APPEARS ON MTV'S REALITY SHOW CRAP OR THEY HAVEN'T YET LEARNED ABOUT GOOD WORKS OF LITERATURE IN THEIR 10TH GRADE ENGLISH CLASS!! ANOTHER THING *gulp* I THINK STEPHANIE MEyers is-is a, a um, uuhhhh.

Um, so yeah. I think this series is not well-written.

I never watched Twilight 1 or 2 but I know that it's not good because a 18 year old girl from next door just told me that it was the best action movie ever. So thanks but no thanks. And did you notice that the guy didn't wear a shirt which just screams "Girls watch the movie it has half naked guys in![wink][wink]". Sorry but that's not my definition of action or sci-fi or anything.

And no I don't like excessive nudity either male of female.

Greatest review ever and I agree 100% !!! Teenage vampires that dazzlin' and a teenage girl that her only choice for having a bf is a vampire or a werewolf (lol!?), i think she needs a shrink (immediately) !!! I really have tried twice to rent twilight, cause my gf told me that is great, romantic and all that, but I couldn't , just couldn't , I think it's too brainless and have this easy, cheesy romance , that doesn't suits me at all !! In addition , the author takes advantage of the legends of these mythical creatures and so badly twisting them without shame (money&easy success above all!!), which is really annoying , if you just think about Bram Stoker,Rudyard Kipling,John Polidori,Conan Doyle,Marion Crawford and so many other great authors who wrote exceptional stories about the Creatures Of The Night , the books that this woman wrote are like cheap lovey-dovey bedtime stories for little teenage girls.

After seeing multiple reviews of this film, it seems I won't like it, though will see it as my girlfriend is really into this kind of thing. She is going to have to see Invictus with me though, so its a compromise! Watched the first one and it was dull. Its pacing was far too slow and story/characters uninteresting. It made 2001 a space odyssey seem short! The "it has ruined vampires" argument is a little silly, does it matter if it did or didn't? I really don't understand the protectionism of mythical creatures in general though as they are more or less just ingrained fictions.

If you do have to beep out every swear word then stop saying them. Its annoyings, its flowbreaking and I'd like to think were not all 12 and old enough to hear different synonyms of the word 'poo'.
So far, I have yet to read a response from MovieBob about this issue. I like his reviews, but the bleeps are just too distracting from my enjoyment of the review. I'll probably take a break from watching further videos until this issue is resolved.

I love Hellsing (Especially the new stuff that follows the manga), Vampire Hunter D is a bit cliche but still very good, and I love castlevania games (the older ones in particular, I think the story kind of went downhill after SOTN). They tend to follow what I want out of monster (in particular vampire) movies/games more. I haven't yet seen the others you have mentioned, but I may check them out in the future.
If D seems cliche' it's because Kikuchi (the author) is nigh-on the Stephen King of Japan and pretty much invented every archetype that's in Japanese vampire fiction; the novels are definitely fun reads (Dark Horse is currently translating them). Trinity Blood is interesting, though the anime is a bit talky but Tokyopop is bringing out the novels. Blood+ is good, being based on the Production I.G. short Blood: The Last Vampire.

The last literature series aimed at young female readers this way was probably Golden Compass. Except probably aimed at younger girls, but it still has many similar things, a strong young female lead, a dangerous male love interest, lots of grief, a secretive group of high-up evil adult types. Also it was actually good. Never watched the movie though.
Buh? Bella is far from a strong female lead. She's about as strong as a wet noodle. She's helpless, clingy, submissive, and happily takes it when Eddy verbally and mentally abuses her bordering on brainwashing her. And why? Because he's supposedly good-looking (to me he just looks like he needs to ditch the '50s combover and stop rolling in a pit of ash).

The answer to this is simple. Combine movies.
Ninja Assassin removes Edward's head and throws his body into the torrential, devouring ocean of 2012 whilst Viggo Mortenson pauses to shoot him in the head.
Oh God, even being in the proximity of a review of this aurochs shit's made me into a babbling Newgrounds fanboy...

All together now:

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!

(Although it would seem 80% of the audiance that went was female. Either way, this is a dark day for the movie industry).
