Hang on there Bob. No disaster movies in recent history? What about 2012, Day After Tomorrow, Armageddon, etc. Hell, there's been such a glut of disaster movies that they made a shitty parody called "Disaster Movie," and you yourself did a special on them called "The Day After..." (where admittedly, you mostly mentioned old movies, but still).

Did that just slip your mind?

Good review! I thought this one looked like it had fun, popcorn-munching potential and your review cements that for me. I had planned to see it with family but the movie times changed and we wound up seeing Morning Glory instead.

I would love to see you review that one though. It had some great writing and it was amusing to see Harrison Ford playing a reporter who had "done it all" and become jaded to doing simpler news stories. But there are a lot of exciting films out there right now, so you might not get the chance. Still, this one was a good summary and certainly grabbed my attention!
