Magic Tournament: Smosh Games vs. The Escapist

Watch as the two fierce teams face off in a fight to the death with magical paper cards as the only weapon. It?s East Coast versus West, Good vs. Evil, Elite vs. Mainstream all rolled into one symbolic battle. The Smosh Games guys have been talking up a storm, while two thirds of the Escapist crew have been quietly plotting their demise. (Janelle has a big mouth.) Graham Stark will live shoutcast the proceedings. May the best team win.

Participants:

So where is the hour of love? I guess that they are saving it for last, cause its the most popular panel.

I have been really enjoying the expo stuff (and this one was no different) but I have to ask, when do we get the hour of love 2?

Awesome, thanks. Anyone have the smosh guys deck lists?

*Edit*
On a side note, love that selesnya deck, very similar to the one I run. Why don't you run Loxodon Smiter's though?

Curve concern and one of the great things about that deck is how much it can actually play at instant speed. The ideal play is to put a threat on the board T1 and T2 and then just sit on Boon Satyrs, Rootbound Defenses, Advent of the Wurm and such.

Loxodon Smiter is also not too hot in the current, my local, meta. It's great when there are a lot of hyper-aggressive decks running around and it brick walls well, but it's a less exciting card as essentially a vanilla 4/4 when the devotion decks are just going bigger faster and control is shifting to the more spot removal heavy Esper builds.

Unfortunately there was some technical issues with the capturing and some files got corrupted. Hour of Love 2 was sadly a casualty. Heck, I didn't even get to see it either and I was at the event - had been looking forward to watching it too.
