I love Clerks 2... How is it one of the worst things he's ever seen? Yeah, it's not as good as Chasing Amy or Clerks, but it was damn funny nonetheless. I don't know which one of you said that Clerks 2 was terrible, but someone needs to show him Lawnmower Man, Twilight, House of the Dead, Son of the Mask, and/or Troll 2 so that he can see some real bad movies.

Cloak of protection: +1 Armour to viruses.

Jaws is also better than the Peter Benchley book, though I liked Fight Club at least as well as the movie. Then again I hated M&C:FSOTW and laughed out loud when the top committed suicide and did so again (and was escorted out of the cinema) when the Dr. got shot.

I wholly agree with Mr. Tito that Chekhov's gun is too annoying if it's never played down with some misdirects.

I find it funny that Mrs. Arendt was sorta pushing innovation over solidity after the last 2 weeks of Amy bashing. Isn't Amy a game that tried new things that didn't work but pushes new ideas? Perhaps that's not a fair comparison.

Ok make that 3 weeks of Amy rage, lol, nice bash.

Justin is a fairly nice guy? I declare this episode non-cannon. Gotta agree with him on broc over fungus though.

I'd listen to a baseball-themed Escapist podcast...
Let's all bash the Hall of Fame voters for not voting in Jeff Bagwell! He's one of the top 5 best ever at his position!!!!

...Video games!

This may be cheating, as I've not read the book (nor will I ever--I could barely stand reading part of the preview on Amazon), but the film DRIVE is... infinitely better than the book.

Is there anyone else around the Escapist office who's nearly as angry/Philly as Susan? If so, please grab them for an episode at some point--angry rants (especially about Metallica becoming godawful bad) are quite enjoyable.

No offence susan, but you do emasculate everybody else. That's actually a good thing though, and it makes listening to your podcasts much more fun. Personally,I think the greatest gaming podcast ever would feature you and Yahtzee (On opossite side) talking about a game.

The Godfather movies also are better than the source material...and is a "Swedish flu" what you call a new girlfriend from Sweden? :p

Ah, literal emasculation. Maybe you guys stole something from the gods and now Susan's job is to rip an organ out only for it to regenerate so she can do it again? :) (Be the eagle, Susan. Be the eagle.)*

Speaking of, one of the weirder events in my life was when I went in for surgery and the recovery ward nurses somehow got the idea I'd been castrated. I overheard them talking about it and I think the only reason I didn't freak out was because the remainder of the happy happy knockout drugs were telling me to take another little nap.

(* Edit: In case someone didn't get it, I'm being facetious.)

Perhaps you and I have different definitions of that word, but I certainly wouldn't consider it a good thing. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad you find us entertaining, but I don't like people saying I'm being mean.

I think it might be prudent to remind people what "emasculate" means. The dictionary definition [http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/emasculate?db=*] is succinct but IMHO doesn't quite convey the connotations of the common use. My definition:

Emasculate: To rip the balls out of.

Okay, folks. Every time you say "X emasculates Y", replace it with "X rips the balls out of Y" and see if you still want to say it.

It's not exactly a compliment to the males, either, as it implies that they're unwilling to stand up to someone being mean to them and can only be themselves when they're hiding. It's like calling them "whipped" without the relationship. Which I don't think they are, personally.

"Emasculate" is certainly a strange (and, I'd have to agree, inaccurate) word to use--that is, I can't recall you ever saying anything that in any way belittled your fellow Escapist podcasters. Probably a better (or at least more accurate) word might be "fierce"? You're much more fierce than the rest of the crew and it works great for the podcast; it's fun listening to someone who has intense feelings about games (and other topics discussed). I mean, just googling the definition real fast: "Showing a heartfelt and powerful intensity" works pretty well, I'd argue.

Ok how about this, you have the strongest personality? Anyway where do you find the pictures of cats, food recipes and other items people send to the podcast?

I think Susan is more tough in then sense of "I'm sticking to my opinion. If you disagree, that's fine, but I'm sticking to it." Not tough in the sense of "I'm a colossal ***** and you WILL respect me." That former is the kind of "tough" I can get behind.

I never got the impression of "emasculation" from any of the podcasts (or podcats). It seems like you guys are a bit of a team and you tease each other a little bit.

Not even a little bit close to "emasculating" here. We're listening to a group of people who enjoy spending their work days together. I say keep it up!

She can be blunt sometimes, but I like that.

You dont dance around the issue, thats a good thing. Like your opinion on making I am Alive star a woman. You were blunt about the problems that would arise.

The guy was being a troll, I am sure you guys get plenty of those.

That aside.

Very good podcast. That Risk game interests me, seems like it would be different and I really liked the old Risk.

And lastly, the Trooper had a really great main mission. I got mine to 50 and I really enjoyed it.

I dont usually role play, but it was really easy to fit into the role of the trooper who will do whatever is needed to get the mission done. It was alot of fun running Havoc squad.

I hear the Jedi Knight has a really good main mission too.

Look forawrd to the next podcast.

That sucks.

Havnt made a knight yet.

I tried the Consular, and I hated him though.

A class in this game is made by their main plot, so I had to abandon him, his plot just couldnt hook me.

But I did start an Agent, and I love em. Doing his 30 main mission as I type this. Lot of fun.

The Imperial Agent story is very good. I have one, along with my Knight.

Gotta say, though, I'm running out of interest for TOR.

Ditto,

Only so many alts I can roll.

Specially when I need to grind to see their main story.

Shame there isnt much to do on 50, even worse I am on a low pop server.

Think Ill unsub and come back in a few months.
