Glad to see a great response so far!
As a reminder: If anyone is seriously interested in contributing and they have an idea, then please message myself or Labyrinth. The more people we have involved, the more community based it will be...which is what we want.

If you want to contribute, but do not have an idea, just record yourself reading a news story from the Escapist, or some nursery rhyme, and send it to the email provided in the OP ([email protected]). This will help me determine how good, or bad, your mic is and any pointers I can give you on getting better (Which may or may not include getting a new mic).

If you want some pre-recording tips, PM me and I'll help how I can.

Again, we want the Escapist community really involved in this, because this podcast is about and for the Escapist community!

Why assume that? We aren't some big corporation! We're two people trying to rally the community behind a completely community supported podcast. If you've got a fun or funny idea for a news script, a forum PSA script, or even a (short) radio drama, then send that sucker in to myself and Labyrinth! We'll read 'em all, and we'll see what works!

We WANT people involved, so just go for it!

The reviews and the "Best Of" thing would be cool. But that's not why I'm here. While searching for this thread, I found this: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/category/319 I'm not sure if anyone else knew this existed.

The thing that I really love is a stream of consciousness style talk with a list of a few things to talk about.

I'd be happy to record something for this, but I'm not the greatest writer, and I seem to have a cold right now.

Also, have you thought about recording via Skype? I hear it works well, but I think you'd know more on that subject.

Teens are a bigger trauma on their parents if they're alive. Killing them would be reprieving the parents.

I don't know about that.. my studies on human emotions (hah, such silly creatures) point otherwise.
