I'm not sure how this will work, but I am curious about what it would be like. Also I don't like the name, maybe they should have just called it "Hyrule" or something.
There was a pokemon MMO, it was phenomenal. It was fan made and somehow everything anyone could have wanted. IT was sooo much fun. Then Nintendo caught wind of it and shut it down.Mister Benoit said:Zelda Universe is just a website hub for all games Zelda. Nintendo just chose to let the ESRB rate it since it's important to them.
Exactly this, Pokemon is dieing for an MMO, just wait for 2-3 more generations and they'll just throw all the land masses together. If done right it'll be super awesome and will at least completely take over the MMO market for Japan.joshthor said:will not play. the only nintendo ip that lends itself to an mmo is pokemon. gimme a pokemon mmo and i will be happy.

There is not a Zelda MMO, but if there is, it will not be called Zelda Universe.
I think you missed something.vansau said:Now, "Zelda Universe" is the name of the <a href=http://www.zelda.com/universe/?ref=http://www.google.com/search?aq=f&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=zelda+universe>official Zelda website. That said, the ESRB doesn't rate web content.
I had played it briefly a fair while back. But I mean like a full on 3d Pokemon. It's not like Nintendo doesn't have the capital to make it happen, they could probably fund the entire project on the profit they've made from selling 5.5 million copies of B/W.linkvegeta said:There was a pokemon MMO, it was phenomenal. Agreed. Nintendo must have hit their head or something. making mmo's of things nobody wants, like reading this I didn't see any positive feedback, then everyone is screaming for Pokemon mmo! I mean like WTF?Mister Benoit said:I had played it briefly a fair while back. But I mean like a full on 3d Pokemon. Man.. Ugh.. It just won't happen and it makes me really sad, it'd be a great property for a large scale MMO.
Zelda doesn't need to change... it needs to die.internetzealot1 said:Great guys, great. This is what happens when you complain about a series not changing enough.
Enough good games is enough good games?Braedan said:Zelda doesn't need to change... it needs to die.internetzealot1 said:Great guys, great. This is what happens when you complain about a series not changing enough.
I loved some of the games, but enough is enough.
God I hope so.ShadowKirby said:Hey guys, maybe it's just, you know, a downloadable game collection called Zelda Universe.
Why does everyone always say this? Pokémon does not need to be an MMO. Training and battling all already online, and that's the only part of the games you need other players for. Having random idiots following me around begging for rare Pokémon and other crap that random idiots do in MMOs would only serve to make the game WORSE.joshthor said:will not play. the only nintendo ip that lends itself to an mmo is pokemon. gimme a pokemon mmo and i will be happy.
