So far I'm enjoying the hell out of the game. My magic guy's already started growing crazy glowing runes on his face for some reason, so I'm pretty psyched.

Depends where you get it from. If you're lucky the shops will have over stocked and wont be sold out. But I wouldn't put all my hopes on getting it.

Also I hate you necroswanson. I'm so tempted to click that spoiler, but i mustn't spoil the shittyness

You can also be a bartender and bounty hunter. Or slave trader if you are evil. Very cool game so far, does anyone know if there is anything specific to make your wife want some whoopie? I get family messages saying she wants sex, then I come home and wait a half hour waiting for her to prompt me to give her the 'thumbs up'
No you are doing it wrong, You must get her a little pumped up.(Try the 3-hit knockout from fable 1. Or just two being if they are proper anyways. Heroic pose and Victory Arm pump or something.) Then when thats done do the expression follow me back to my place and then when shes following you click on the bed and you will get two choices.

It's not a very big spoiler. No story stuff or anything.

Also, anyone know where to get the, "Follow me back to my place expression" or is it just follow?
Bowerstone market book store. "Come hither....yayadedadia" You get the point.(Just look for the book with a start of "Come hither"

I love this game. Almost finished with my first play through. Just one more main story quest to go I believe.

*Wonders if it's appropriate to ask for achievement help on these forums*

I just finished my first one today. 18 hours of main-quest here.(Plus a little sidetracking.)

So far its been defiantly worth its money.

First, the bad.

1: Map system sucks. No minimap onscreen, not able to zoom in on the pause screen map, half the cool stuff like Demon Doors arn't marked, and the areas are all bigger then Fable 1. Pain in the ass does not begin to describe it when you first start out.

2: No heal spell, and most of the the food makes you fat. That only leaves expencive potions. Or you could just not get hit.

3: Combat is toned down a ton from the last game. There's no quick menu on the d-pad, so forget about mapping your items. Most of the stuff that you had from the get-go of the first game needs to be unlocked now, and alot of it is just plain gone (no Beserk spell? What is up with that shit?).

Next, the good.

Everything else. I'm not joking, the story is great, it's about as "open" as you can get, and although it may be simple the combat is still pretty damn fun. But it's the little things that really make the game. The first scene, for instance, starts off as this lush, amazing view that sweeps the land and gives you that "holy shit, this is gonna be big" feeling, which then ends with a bird droping a load on your head. Stuff like that really makes this game something great, and anybody who has even a little bit of intrest should check it out.
Long story short, if you don't mind a bug-bite or two, this game is a great day at the beach.

I've heard this game is....not a bad game by any means, but that it's just a little underwhelming, and very simplified. I don't want to use the phrase "dumbed down" because it has negative connotations and sometimes simplifying can be a good thing if done in the right places. Would you agree or disagree with this assessment of Fable2, and if so is it a good or a bad thing?

This was very much how I personally felt after I bought Spore, which I thought should have had a lot more depth to it than it did. With so many "must-buys" coming out this month, and my limited budget, I want to seek as many opinions as possible and be careful what I purchase so as to avoid feeling the same way I did when I bought Spore.

I love the game, few problems with the controls and making my character a really good person (It calls me freaking indifferent) other than that the game is great (in my opinion).

A few little tips to answer some question:

1) To make love I always found out it works if you have a condom on you. Even if your character is female ( I was having trouble with my husband, got a condom from the dresser in the house then he wanted to have sex)

2) Fat Character are brought by two things: a lot of points put in strength to make your character stronger or eatting alot of pies, beer, beef and bad food. Easy way is to take exp out of the strength or eat good foods such as celery (like someone said before) Carrots and Apples.

3) STDs are funny to see in this game but can cause harmful affects on you such as lower exp gain, lower life regain, weaker, and appearance.

4) Magic (will) showers you power in the runes on your body the brighter and more runes you have the stronger you are.

For anymore Tips feel free to message my tag on live I don't mind doing co-ops or run threws to help people out :3

My only complaints with this game are minor trivialities at best. Nothing game-breaking in the least, but they do break up the action sometimes.

-No on-screen map. Makes it difficult to get around if you don't know where you're going. The objective trail usually solves this problem, but it doesn't show you where your home that you forgot the location of is.

-The text is tiny, and some of it is cut off the screen. I can understand this; mostly everyone now has huge, HD TV's. There's no need to clutter the screen with gigantic lettering. But on my 19" SD tube TV, it's kind of hard to read anything, especially button icons. And since the screen is curved at the corners, 80% of the time, I can't see most of my health bar. It's not very helpful when trying to determine how close I am to death.

-No short-cut for item use, and every time you use an item, it goes back to the main screen. Say you have five experience potions you want to use. Well, you have to pause, go down to items, go down to potions, select the potion, and gather the orbs. Then repeat this process four more times. This isn't a big deal if you have one or two potions you want to use, but if you want to eat a big bunch of celery you've collected, it can get a bit cumbersome. Same with books and all other items.

-Typos and grammatical errors. There are a lot of these. And they're really obvious, too. I'm surprised no one caught them in testing. There's even a huge one on one of the achievements. When I get back on I'll post which one it was.

Like I said, these are all very minor things, but fixing them would have made the game that much better.

I'd also like to ask a few questions. Namely, how do you take people on dates? And what happened to my "Fable 2 pub games: free with pre-order" that I never got?

EDIT: Also, does anyone know if running a lot decreases your weight?

Basically, seduce her (see Y card for how) and then when she propositions you, give her the thumbs up. She should start following you and when you take her to a bed you should be able to get with the babymaking. Now, if you could just get her to man a forge while you're away...

I haven't played it yet; mainly because Australia gets everything about 6 months late.

Anyways, I'm a huge fan of the original, the way the sequel is looking, I am going to be one very happy man.
