no i thought of that and then thought it would be funnier to go offer to give it back and when he says give "it to me" i stab him with it then take it back and steal his stuff.

Well I choose the path of generosity, and apparently the townsfolk love me for it. It seems I, and maybe a few others, will be all that stands against the massive tide of all this evil! Well then I will go down swinging! Maybe I can embolden the townsfolk to stand with me and defend themselves!

You shall not stand alone, good sir, my blade is yours.

Blades won't help you. Praying to your impotent god will be your only hope. I will drag out your pain for as long as I can. It helps when I know necromancy so I can keep raising you to find new ways to murder you.

Fool, you underestimate the strength of the human spirit, and you underestimate the strength of my magical prowess. I fear not your dark death magic, for holy power guards my body and soul! Unlike you, I will grant you a quick and honorable death, deserving of such or not, for that is the way of virtue.

Holy power doesn't do jack against a boulder pushed off a cliff by a bunch of my zombies.

But you should at least be feared, you can steal so much if nobody wants to be around you.
