Why no Fable 3 on PS3? Course after the PS3 firmware update killed some games. I guess I can understand.
Because Lionhead (the studio that develops Fable) is owned by Microsoft. You might as well ask why Super Mario Galaxy isn't going to be on the 360.

Anyway, it's cool that they're putting it on the PC, but it's really stupid to not allow the Collector's Edition. It's like, rather than having some nice incentive to buy the physical copy of the game, they're basically saying "Hey guys, go ahead and pirate this game, all you're missing-out on is GFWL which sucks anyway."

They said Natal works on the PC, you know? USB ports and all.

Also, I think I may get the special edition, just cos it looks so coooool.

Also, you know this means a lot more people is going to buy it, since I see a lot of people on the PC wanting it.
Yes because I'm going to spend $200 on a terrible fad.

Fuck that, Keyboard for life.
I think it's meant to be cheap, like $50, but IDK if I'll get it.

Since he said he wants Fable III to be accessible, I doubt you'll HAVE to have it.
It's already been listed as $200 in Europe, so its not cheap. And yeah, Molyneax has already said that Natal isn't required.

Natal is just a dumb idea altogether though.

So, where does fable 2 come into all this?

Or do they just expect PC owners to forget about the skippage of the 2nd fable...

Hope those extra quests and locations will come to PC later as a DLC.
Even DLC can and will get cracked.

Xbox's can also be cracked, so making it console exclusive wont help much either if people REALLY want to pirate.

I should mention that the PC version's RRP is £40 for the UK and 55 Euros in Europe for some strange reason. I conclude that Lionhead/Microsoft has a lot of broken calculators.

Yay! I hope it's as funny as the first Fable. Fable was kinda tight & restictive, linier, & closed in world, but it was the humor (& the kickass soundtrack) that made me enjoy it.

I'll gladly pirate it to show my support for the fact that they are not abbandoning PC market.

Sheesh...

Fable 3 will suck horse***** if they don't make it like Fable 1, Fable 2 was a really bad game IMO, too simplistic and boring.

FFS, 200? Piece of shit then, I heard the made the production cost real cheap.

IDK, it's a cool idea, but if they don't have good software to back it up then it's a bit silly. The tech does seem kinda awesome if you can get it to work.

Because the publisher is Miscrosoft.

Guild Seal Coin: The coin features a Good side (blue) and Evil side (red) to assist players in making critical decisions that will impact the fate of the world forever.
Should we be concerned that not only are the developers admitting that the game's moral choices will be simply save kitten/ eat kitten, but are actually encouraging players not to think about them, but to decide them by flipping a coin?
Interesting, I was thinking that the different coloured coin would be used to show Natal what choice you're making. For example you show the red side to eat the kitten and the blue side to save the kitten.

The Collector's Edition will be priced at $79.99 (£59.99), versus the standard $59.99 (£49.99) and $49.99 (£39.99) prices for the Xbox 360 and PC editions, respectively.
Fifty quid for a new copy?!? Please tell me that's a typo. It was bad enough when publishers and retailers decided to shift the price up to £40, but another ten pounds on top of that? For an RPG which will no doubt be enjoyable, yet also shallow, short, and ultimately noway near as exciting as whatever Molyneux promises?

Damn. I remember when you could get the special edition of a game for under £50. And publishers wonder why used games are selling so well...
Just to make you feel better, I live in Australia and have to pay inordinant amounts of money for my games.

Until after Febuary CoD:MW2 was retailing at $109.99 AUD (About $91.00 USD, 73.00 EUR, 65.00 GBP)

Normal Edition.

Obviously there were Christmas Sales and such so very few people were paying that. But that's what the sticker said and that's what some people payed if they couldn't be bothered shopping around or asking for a price match.

Fable 3 Collectors Edition will cost us up to $120.00 (More likely $110.00)

Sweet. PC Gaming ftw. I don't have an Xbox and I was kind of disappointed fable 2 never came out for the PC. This makes up for it though :)
