Anyone who puts anything on the internet that they don't want people to find out about is an idiot.
Stupidity needs consequences

The title of this article made me laugh.

But seriously, this is why I don't put any info about me except that I was born on January 3rd, 1910

If anyone makes a Facebook, they'd be idiots if they expected privacy.

What's an SNS number?
text-messaging is generally done through SNS.

not sure what it stands for, or even what it means
You meant SMS (Short Message Service)

The SNS number is the Social Network Service number, kinda like an id number for every user on facebook.

Is this guy an idiot, or what?
This shit is going to come back and bite him in the ass, and I'll be there to laugh at him when it does.
Lets face it, at the time he didn't know it would get this big. Also, thats so fucking hilarious it's untrue.

*heavy laughing* I would sadly say the same. Mans got to do what it takes to get the business job done.

Edit: And just for the record, we are becoming like the entertainment news industry when it comes to this crap, think of less crazy headlines and more news please.

Eh. It's still useful for keeping in touch with people.
And all they really have are my name, DoB and email. How much information they have is pretty much up to the user, considering how easily people online can lie about every facet of their existence.

The thing I've never really understood, speaking of irony, is that if people want to keep shit private, why are they putting it on Facebook in the first place? Or anywhere on the internet, for that matter?

Maybe I'm too old to be hip to "nu-privacy," but it seems to me that if you want to keep something to yourself, you keep it to yourself.
Agreed. Simply put, you're right and I agree.

My question is: What is there to hide? I'm not planning to bomb anyone, I've never killed anyone, so I have nothing to hide. If someone finds out my middle name is Dante, will I be laughed at? Is that a good reason to hide such information? Some people are just timid..

I already knew all that.
That's why my Facebook account is a fake name with no friends and no other information.
The email address for the account also has the same fake name.
I do not link Facebook with any other account.
Privacy is locked down. (*ha!*)
I just use the account to surf Facebook, and that is all.
What a bunch of Clowns.
Look people up and see all the nonsense they're up to.
Doesn't any realize that this can effect their future jobs?
MyFace - I mean MySpace is the same.

Its times like this that it feels good to be a nobody.

Whats facebook going to use me for? My unnatural desire to poke my friends or our collective love for boobies?

Ya know, all my reasons for not joining Facebook up till now have been arguable, but this bout of douchebaggery settles it.

And it's times like these I'm glad I don't own a Facebook account. If I did, I would have to actually be worried about Zuckerberg.

I eternally regret joining Facebook, because there's no way off.
You know you can delete your account, right?
Delete all you want, but any personal info that you put up there, they have, till the end of time.
True. This is why I got off early. Only one or two stupid photos of me, and an email adress or two.

In the words of a great character.
