I was never entirely clear on what was so bad about the Enclave, either.
Didn't they want to enslave the populace by controlling the water supply? That's what I thought it was at least.
actually the enclave is splintered. there is an evil AND good enclave. the good enclave however is rare because they rarely come out because they are busy reuniting the wasteland and rebuilding cities.
LOL you toally misread the Enclave. The ones that did not want to use the virus were lead by the guy that killed a woman just to force the Dad to surrender the purrifier to their control, and was willing to kill you to get the password from you. If that is "good" you must think Stalin was a great guy.
i wasn't talking about the DC enclave. i am talking about the MIDWEST ENCLAVE. the mid-west enclave are the good ones while the west coast enclave which came to DC are the evil ones.
Ok how about the West Coast Enclave, slaughtering civilians right in front of you? The Enclave has always been bad in the Fallout games. I did not play Tactics, maybe that was an exception, but even if its 2/3 of the Enclave thats bad, thats a clear majority.
its 50/50. the midwest enclave now outnumbers the west coast ones. the west coast and the DC enclave are the SAME ENCLAVE dude.
Where are you getting all this information on the midest Enclave and their relative strength compared to the main Enclave? Your own fanfiction does not count and thy have not appeared in any of the 2277+ games so anythign you have from any previous source is outdated.

the vault and from van buren. http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Enclave

also 26 years doesn't mean the mid-west enclave fell apart. Not to mention most of fallout 3's content conflicts with a lot of the lore from the previous fallouts.
Very odd, since the most I saw in there wwas callign the Mid-West Enclave a splinter of the mian Enclave, not a seperate but equal force, as it says there were many splinters, such as. Van Buren was to take place in the same region as New Vegas, not the Mid-West. Again, you're making most of it up. Write some fan fiction did you?

Caesars Legion for me, no doubt. Theyre slavers. I like making money. So slaving it is.

no, its simple logic. if the mid-west enclave wasn't affected by a catastrophe and is near or AT its original numbers while the west coast enclave was blown to hell and back multiple times not counting the casualties of day-to-day warfare then don't you think the mid west might be bigger than whats left of the west coast enclave? after all the west coast enclave troops that died on the mainland, on the oil rig, at adams airforce base, and at raven rock? I know the enclave vaults are unlisted and their exact number remain a national secret but you cant say the west coast enclave is still bigger than the mid-west enclave after all the dumb shit they pulled.
Except the Vault describes it as one of many shards, never says they act any different, never says they are less evil, and never says they had any larger a compliment than any other Enclave shard. it never says they did not move East with the West Coast Enclave when they moved to Raven Rock. All that you made up and then said you were never real sure the Enclave was evil, despite them being the bad guys in both their official appearances, because you made up the part where they weren't evil.

This is a spoiler, so...

They wanted to destroy every last trace of the mutation in DC. While this sounds good this would kill anyone who had even mutated to the point where you can't tell at all. I'm pretty sure in broken steel if you help them accomplish this then give aqua pura to the beggars, they die. Goals are noble, methods are evil.

I love killing slavers, gives me a great feeling of civic pride...but on the other hand when I get irritated by all the "quests" the lazy townsfolk want me to go on I also love a good killing spree...

See, now why would you grant them a mercy like death? Slavery is such a more fitting punishment. And you get some serious cash for it. Its a very nice career choice.

Very good news... I'm absolutely sick of the silly decisions you make in games where you have to do certain things to be good. This will *hopefully* make you think about your decisions instead of just saying "I want to have the red lightning so I'll kill this guy for no reason."

Because slavery is a lot of trouble, that's why. Capturing people, transporting them to market, selling them, not getting enslaved yourself by larger, more powerful groups...blah blah.
Much easier to just kill and rob people. Or kill and rob slavers.

Huh, are we talking about the slaving in different games? Im talking about Fallout 3: Mes them, get the collar on them, and then they run over to Paradise Falls by themselves. Just get there after they do and bam, 250 caps.

Although yeah, it is a lot of fun to just shoot to kill anyways, too. Being evil in F3 was so much easier than being good. I just stole everything I saw, and ten I had like 20000 caps by the time I hit level 7.

I am so happy all the NPCs are killable except for one! I love the Fallout series and cannot wait for this one! :D
