Ever since Fallout: NV was released, Obsidian has been teasing us with messages of "Ulysses, the other Courier."

The mysterious man who was originally supposed to deliver the Platinum Chip that got Courier Six into so much trouble. From rescuing Christine Royce, revealing to Elijah where he could find the Sierra Madre in Dead Money, and even apparently being a member of Caesar's Frumentarii, Ulysses seems to have a hand in everything.

Ulysses is mentioned in the main quest, Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues and later this month, we'll finally meet him in Lonesome Road.

Apparently, Courier Six and Ulysses know each other very well and Ulysses thought Courier Six to be dead prior to the events of New Vegas, I for one am interested to see what the deal is with this enigmatic desperado.
So, what do you think we can expect from our meeting with Ulysses in Lonesome Road?

I don't know, but...

I WANNA KNOW MORE! I WANNA KNOW MORE! I WANNA KNOW MORE!

Seriously, if Lonesome Road is even 1/10th as awesome as I expect, it's going to be well worth the buy!

I haven't played Old World Blues, but I'm waiting untill this DLC is available to buy both in one go.

Seems really interesting, just hoping is a bit longer than DM o HH.

i am definitely interested, just as long as it doesn't involve the annoying shit that was in dead money (fucking cockfag collar on the whole time and annoying quests to be done certain ways, fuck those holograms)

i wonder how they will do it..and hopefully with the DLC you can continue the game into the oblivion of whatever you want to do after the battle of hoover dam

I'm hoping we don't have to kill him...that's it. He has the most epic voice this side of Lanius, and he fights with a damn flagpole to boot!

Obsidian, not Bethesda...Obsidian!

Uhhh, no that isn't the only known picture of him, you forgot his card from the CE, which also includes a quote from him and shows him carrying a flag pole. That card was also what sparked the whole interest into him, I personally remember looking for him for ages, going on the Fallout wiki and finding no article on him until a while later when Chris Avellone finally said who he was.

Judging by what he says in OWB I'm assuming he wants to recreate America as he sees it and back to its former glory, very Enclave-y, but I doubt he will be part of the Enclave.

Still looking forward to his connection with the Courier.

Ulysses is certainly fascinating. He seems to be obsessed with recreating America and that's probably what he was talking to the Think Tanks about. My guess is he grew up as a bighorn rancher in the NCR, then maybe something happened involving the Courier and he joined the Legion. When he decided that there was no future with the legion or the NCR he went looking for others like the BoS.

Whatever his relationship is with the Courier I have absolutely no idea. It'll probably have something to do with Hopeville which he was studying at the Big MT which maybe the Courier had something to do with. From what Avellone has said, he loves the idea of his character doing something small and then the consequences of those actions go on unseen to someone else. So maybe whatever relationship he has with the Courier is something the Courier isn't even aware of.

Whatever the case is, I look forward to the final DLC. Obsidian, don't let us down.
