Taking place in 2,500,000 BC, Turtles in Time is the first title in a game timeline spanning billions of years.
I think you mean 2,500,000,000 BC.

It's a pretty cool idea. Shame the graphical representation wasn't more impressive.

*sees Persona is technically in the same continuity as Mass Effect, according to this timeline*

Now THAT would be interesting to see. Personas in Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer? I'd play it. :p

Well I'm fairly surprised at this. That takes dedication. Much kudos to that guy. Now to lose my life looking at it all.

Taking place in 2,500,000 BC,
on a timeline starting in 2,500,000,000 BC
so which is it!

i find it funny that a game titled "future wars" spans as one of the earliest games in timeline.

the graphical timeline however could have been much better. this felt like everyone is at the same place and thats kinda useless. it owuld be interesting if it was an actually timeline with marks on it that cuodl be zoomedin or out. but i guess the guy wasnt a coder.

Yeah Space Hulk is a 40k game....but not everything in the 40k verse all happens on the year 40,000,
They could have tried to be more specific, 40k does have a dating system IE 999.M41 is 40,999 CE. Infact almost all of the most recent stuff happens in the 42nd millennium.
Yeah he missed the dating system the imperium uses and got the game order wrong, but at least it's there.

Did anyone spot any missing games? The new Xcom wasn't on the list.

Obviously as soon as it comes out, 0x10^c will have to win the 'furthest in the future' prize.

I feel kind of bad for every game unfortunate enough to be on this timeline. Because in the end, it all leads to Warhammer 40,000.

Every happy ending any game on this list ever had has just been viciously subverted.

I... never actually thought about it. What timeline would the major ones be? Mario in 1980's? Sonic in 2100's? Zelda sometime in the Iron age? And then there's all those pesky continuity errors.
