THQ Nordic now owns the rights to TimeSplitters and today they've announced having hired series co-creator Steve Ellis to "plot the future course" of the TimeSplitters franchise. What that means hasn't been specified. Maybe just remasters, maybe a full on sequel.
Either way, it's the most life the franchise has shown in 14 years.
Aside from that they also announced sequels in the Saint's Row and Metro franchises.
