Danny Phantom is one of my favorite Cartoons of the 2000s (The other being Samurai Jack and Avatar heck alot of great cartoons came around the early to mid 2000s)

But I am surprised that people disliked not only the last 2 seasons, but even dislike the appearent finale, Phantom Planet, I mean yes I know compared to Ultimate Enemy, Phantom Planet is lacking but it comes close second imo and was a nice conclusion to the series. Heck If I am to be frank the later seasons were had some of the more action pack episodes like Danny learning Ice Powers to defeat the Plant daemon ghost voiced by Mark Hamill.

But its been a long time since I have seen the series so mabye that is nostalgia blinding me so anyone who is a fan explain to me how bad really were Seasons 3 and 4 of Danny Phantom?

Since I like being so contrary that I make Mary Mary looks like a pushover, I'll say that they were excellent.

The entire show became more.....fairly odd parentish. With more overt humor, everyone got flanderized to one or two traits etc etc

If you like that you'll like it, if you don't you wont
Can you site an example how it got too much like fairly oddparents?

I remember it being bad
In fact when I think about it all of those cartoons that I used to enjoy watching became godawful as the seasons progressed.
Fairly Oddparents became awful, Billy and Mandy became awful, SpongeBob became awful, Kids Next Door became bad, Edd Edd and Eddy became really bad. This is also around the time that Simpsons started going fast downhill. It was also around the time that I came to the conclusion that I had outgrown cartoons and stopped watching them.

I never really liked Danny Phantom to begin with, the whole trying to be an action cartoon but filter through that nickelodeon lens/style just didn't work for me. From the animation to the humor.

Plus I can of look down an show that pulls out the "goth girl" character for the romantic interest.

I gotta call bullshit on some of those. KND started off with an absolute moronic and ageist premise and did an incredible amount of world building to make it work.

And how anyone could hate Ed, Edd, and Eddy's final season? I loved seeing them in school, in a new setting, I only wish we could of had more of it.

I'm kinda curious, too. Rebeltaxi brought up that season 3 and 4 were horrible during his Danny Phantom video, but said he'd cover why later, so I was left to wonder.

I was never much into the series, as a kid, but it was watchable if nothing else was on. I don't recall finding any episodes particularly worse than others.
