The Tick, 1 series about 8 episodes, only 7 aired, it was so bleeding funny
Agreed the funniest cartoon i have ever seen in my life, the most oblivious jokes ever with one of the funniest ideas for a hero. I dont know why they took it off...you know what? we should make an evil mod hate mail the crap out of the service providers that took the Tic off air until they put it back.

My Own Worst Enemy
The War at Home
My Own Worst Enemy deserved to get thrown out the window. The War at Home I did enjoy.
The show I thought was dynamite, but only lasted one season was Freaks & Geeks.

Plenty of them. Traveler was great, Moonlight was great, and Fringe was great.
But then American Idol had to be two hours and Fringe just disappeared...It was looking to be a great show to, as only about three episodes aired...
I'm most pissed that Traveler got canceled though.
Fringe was just on break. It will be back in a few weeks. But to name a few TV shows that got the short end of the stick. . . . .

*Firefly - Great show that suffered from the network not being behind it and not being able to capture a mainstream audience.

*Moonlight - Another great show that despite being on Friday night did great ratings but high production costs combined with the writers strike and a lack of backing by CBS were just too much for it to overcome.

*Arrested Development - Honestly I dont know why this isnt still on . . . .

*Life on Mars (US) - A show that started out slow and never was able to recover even with possibly the best cast on TV.

*Kindred: The Embraced: - Good show, but when your leading actor gets hit by a bus (or something equally deadly) between seasons it makes for a difficult time.

*The Riches - Another superb show falling victim to the recent writers strike.

*Jericho - Interesting show that was never given the time needed to catch on and was sadly canceled . . . .twice

I'm going to go WAAAAAAAAY back and say the Fox show, "Inside Herman's Head". Man I remember watching that and laughing my ass off. Plus it had Yeardley Smith, the voice of Lisa Simpson, and Hank Azaria, the voice of many of the Simpsons minor characters. Link to the Wiki below:

Both Titus and Arrested Development got canceled after about 1.5 seasons.

Both were very funny and well written.

I miss them...
Well, Arrested Development made it two and a half seasons. But I have to agree with the sentiment, as well as the Firefly sentiment. I'm not sure Futurama could be considered a failure, as it did go four seasons. I'm also leary of a return, but that's because of what happened with Family Guy and the fact that The Simpsons hasn't been funny in probably a decade.

I really want to say The 4400, but it did make it four seasons. Then again, they weren't ever full seasons. Also, it got canceled right after the most amazing end to season 4. Great way to end a season. Fucking terrible way to end an entire show.

Also, The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. was a fantastic show. I don't remember if it failed or how long it aired, but it was so much fun.

How about Undeclared? Another Not-Even-An-Entire-Season show.

Either Special Unit 2 or Freedom. Both shows were awesome for the short time they were on the air.

I can't believe that Smash Lab had such a short life. With a name like that you would think it could go on forever.

I think Firefly did rather well, with a movie and all, but Fox kills good shows...
Drive was another I liked from Fox.

futurama, one of the best shows EVAR.

im surprised theres no mention of shadow raiders. its probably the best thing mainframes ever done(especially now with all the barbie and hot wheels sh*te). Good graphics, great story line, way ahead of its time. i mean come on, 5 planets, one planet-eating-unstopable planet, ancient engines hidden deep within those 5 planets, and villians made of anti-matter for christ's sake. it was cut short 13 episodes early(planned 40 shortened to 27), barely tying up most of the loose ends, with still a huge plot hole. and it was made 10 YEARS AGO PEOPLE

It didn't make it a season, and three episodes never got aired. Fox fucked up and tried to placate fans with a movie. The fans did a hell of a job on that one.

Andy Richter Controls the Universe, that one show that Andy Richter played an accountant/detective, and the token Arrested Development answer.
