My vote goes to Hazama from Blazblue. The combination of fedora, butterfly knives and split personalities just makes him an awesome character for me. Plus I love his hybrid playstyle of switching between knives and chains to fight.

I don't play many fighting games to be honest. But it's tied.

Nico Robin in the One Piece games is always awesome. Although Chopper was awesome recently too.

If you don't count games based off popular manga then I'd say Taki from SC.

Bang Shishigami is my favorite. So stupid, silly, and cheesy, yet so AWESOME! I'm not very good with him but I love to play him anyway. The one I'm best with is Nightmare in Soul Calibur but I don't play that very much anymore, SCIV didn't really do it for me.

This question comes up every so often, but I like it when it does. Choosing just one overall would be pretty much impossible. How am I to tell if I like Raphel Sorel more than Armor King? Oh well, here goes.

And honestly I prefer Blazblue. It's more accessible and as a result all my friends will play it, while only one or two will touch GG.

I have mixed feelings towards 'Core. On the one hand, Force Breaks are awesome. On the other, the combo system puts me off, now (I'm not used to OTG combos in a Guilty Gear game).

And they changed Axl's pokes. I was thrilled at first that they were multi-hit...then I realized that my keepaway game suffered serious damage as a result.

And honestly I prefer Blazblue. It's more accessible and as a result all my friends will play it, while only one or two will touch GG.

My main problem is that Blazblue isn't on a console I own, so I haven't been able to try it, yet...

I guarantee you'll love it once you do. It's naturally not as balanced as GG but it's the first game in a series, Continuum Shift is a wee bit more balanced from what I've played.

Combos are easier to string in BB so you'll get used to it quickly.
