What is your favorite game developer? Nearly every game from the developer you absolutely love. And why do you love those games?

I would have to say Black Isle, every game they made was an absolute masterpiece. Memorable characters, epic stories, countless character options, and not to mention a good amount of humor.

Sadly their spiritual successor, Bioware, I feel isn't as good. Don't get me wrong, their games are good; but I feel as though there is an element of immersion that is missing in some of their games.

EDIT: I have a lot of small ones too ,but just think of all the good game studios out there. So I just chose the first 4 off the top of my head.

Black Isle is close to the top, but I think I have to go with "random collection of flash developers online" because of the hours and endless hours of variety they've given me.

Any Developer that is not Bungi or valve. And no I am not doing this to get on peoples nerves, I really don't admire either of them.

No, I'm just curious. I'm not some in-cognito fanboy of valve. To tell you the truth, I despise steam.
