Any of the first 150, but I am somewhat fond of charizard.
Because they're all awesome. Charizard only gets special mention cause he was the first fully evolved pokemon I ever had.
Blue, or Crystal.

I prefer red/blue, I will go as far as silver/gold if I need something new. Magmar is my buddy in the game.
I've said this alot in the past week but screw it, here goes.
Nidoking, that bad boy got me through Pokemon Yellow single handedly, no need for Pikachu here.
And Crystal because it improved on the original Blue/Red/Yellow without having to reboot the franchise.

my favorite version was red/blue because they were original back then. My favorite pokemon is Charizard because he looks the most badass.
Espeon and Ninetails. My favorite version was Crystal and the other two, but Crystal gets the mention because you got an easy Suicune.
I fully enjoyed Saphire blue. I loved the story to it and at the time it really broke Pokemons old pattern. I loved the part where it started to rain.
Silver was my favorite because it was the first one that I got that I could read fluently. I enjoyed Red and the other previous ones, but I was In kindergarten and I had no idea what was going on. I'll admit that saphire was a lot better though.
I don't know what Pokemon was my favorite. I was always fond of Lapras and Charmander (along with his evolved forms). Nidoking was also pretty badass in the originals.

I'm a stickler for the old ways, so I'd say Red/Blue. However, I've recently been playing FireRed, and am enjoying that immensely. Probably because it's basically an exact remake but with bonus content and the bugs worked out.
As far as favourite Pokemon goes, well...
Squirtle is only one you ever saw wearing stylish sunglasses!
Although I always liked Scyther and Gengar, so they get honourable mentions, too.

Personally, my favorite was Sapphire, but I have to say my favorite Pokemon is Dugtrio. I also loved yellow, although I never used that Pikachu they gave me . I used the three starters, a Fearow and my Dugtrio, who was level 90 by the time I went against the league.
