Beauty and the Geek just to see the saddest men and the thickest and dumbest women go for it in a big assed mansion doing things everyone else finds normal or should know.

But, cooking shows are my fav. If they count.
No, because they are disqualified because they are educational (also, they're documentaries).
I meant shows like Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares and Take on the Take-away.

Hm, you mean those where there's that cliche overly judgemental boss that yells about everyone's cooking? Ya, I think those count.

I wouldn't say he's a cliché, since I never heard of a rude TV chef like that before him xD

Simon Cowell? That cake Italian chef guy? There's probably others, but I can't remember them.
Edit: not necessarily chefs though.

Cowell doesn't yell. He rather prefers breaking a human being mentally until they have a nervous breakdown and cry themselves to sleep every night for the rest of their lives. xD

Ultimate Fighter. But only because I skip most of the show and go straight to the beatings.

Ya, but just about every reality show I go on has a manager judge guy that yells at everyone.

Yeah, all you people jumping on the "I hate reality TV/reality tv is ruining television" bandwagon are really original. There's plenty other shows. For example, about twenty versions of CSI, and sixteen variations of Battlestar GenericSciFitica. I guess the thirty-five sitcoms these days were reduced to twenty-seven instead, so you do have some reason to argue.

Now, I watch the auditions to American Idol to see him tear people apart. And I'll be watching Survivor this year since Rupert is back, a cool guy back when "People on an island competing for the satisfaction of their host, Jeff Roboprobst v.3.0" was still interesting. America's Got Talent is fun sometimes.

Other than that, I don't watch much TV anyways.

I watched that actually, it was pretty alright. Although I didn't know anyone was crippled and it was more of a drama/horror parody than a reality TV show meaning Dead Set was actually watchable.

I love watching them. Tongue in cheek obviously. My favorite has to be Flavor of Love or I Love New York. The people on it are just so ridiculous and fun to watch. I'm surprised they have never been called out for racism. People are so stereotypical, and its just straight up hilarious to see them interact.
Its nice to see I'm not the only one here who likes these shows. I get that the "reality" part is a stretch becuase of editing, the unnatuiral situation, blah, blah, but thats not the point. They are just fun. And who doesn't like to watch others fail, or see good people do good things.

Gotta love all the elitist followers who jump so quickly on the reality televison is the worst thing ever bandwagon

They are all awful, thank god Big Brother is being axed this year. Although it will most likely be replaced by another dancing show

I'm in agreement with most of you here that reality TV is the bane of all things bright and beautiful, but being a fan of MMA, I'll watch the ultimate fighter if i happen to be flicking the channels and it's on.

Well, it was nice to see the Big Brother stereotypes being slaughtered and eaten by zombies.

Mantracker is AWESOME. Running away from a guy on a horse for 2 days with only a map to find you're way, having to constantly take cover, get to a water source without him finding you there, and constantly being on the look out would be awesome. Going through forest, over mountains, through the badlands, through the desert, just epic. And you're being recorded the whole time so you can show everyone what you did later! It's easily the best reality show ever.

Here's the last part of a good episode, I really like him hiding in the bush as the horseman go by on the road, it was like Lord of the Rings
as well as the first part of one with Mantracker against two tactical officers, which is REALLY good:
This is BY FAR my favourite one though, when he goes against two olympians:
And this is an interview with him, where he tells you the whole show is genuine, not staged at all.
