So, I managed to forget that the Netflix "bill" was due, causing me to look on Youtube in the meantime for some stuff to watch. There's choice channels that I always go to, but I'm sure there's a lot of great content that I simply haven't heard about yet. I'll share what I check often, and maybe we can all discover great new stuff to watch!

TotalBiscuit- As a PC gamer, this one's a given. I don't think I need to say much.

SuperBunnyhop- George has become a great journalist, diving into the details and asking the right questions about the Konami fiasco and Shenmue 3, with great insight on all things gaming. I can't wait to see what he does next.

WatchMojo- A lot of people aren't into "top 10s", but I always find their content entertaining and I myself am a big fan of lists. I like to have these on in the background while I do other stuff.

Jim Sterling - I don't really like the "squirty play" of showing game footage, but I still like catching up on new Jimquisitions.

Vsauce 1 and 2- Yeah it's pop science, but sometimes it's really interesting stuff. There hasn't been new stuff lately, but I think Michael could be a new generation's Bill Nye if he wanted to do so.

So what do you guys watch when you're on Youtube?

Unit Lost - two british guys doing video games videos

Scott Manley - Space stuff, video games in space and the best Kerbal Space Program content out there, great guy with great voice and lots of knowledge about astronomy and stuff
ashens - guy that looks at stuff

DTM - Official channel, including full races.

Funhaus - They have fun with games. FUN!! Boy, games in the past just aged badly but some were surprisingly good. They even have honest view points about the gaming industry and aren't always looking for an echo chamber and aren't playing to the crowd.

- The Sw1tcher a.k.a. Two Best Friends Play: The few talented gaming aficionados that aren't drowning in cynicism. Best let's plays on youtube.

- Mr. Sunday Movies: Spunky Australian movie review guy.

- Oliver Harper: Just a more regular movie review guy, but he puts a lot of time and effort into his retrospective movie reviews, and makes some fun commentary tracks, too, on occasion.

- Matthewmatosis: The best games reviewer out there, who unfortunately takes huge chucks of time to get videos out, but when he does they're amazing.

- DouchebagChocolat a.k.a. Demolition D: An anime reviewer who also takes his time, but it's the only anime reviewer I can even stomach. He's also just a funny, give-no-fucks kinda guy.

I'm surprised how much I enjoy him given how bad the site he's tied to sucks.

So...my favourites, barring people already mentioned and in no particular order:

AaronRa: atheist YouTuber who I mostly follow for sciencey stuff. Yes, I just said sciencey.
Oskar Jungell: Does debunking videos that are entertaining regarding ghosts and the paranormal. Also, things that involve bananas.
Rap Critic: that guy from Channel Awesome who is criminally underrated.
potholer54: hasn't been very active in a long time, but he's a journalist who deals with debunking global warming deniers and the like. More to the point, his videos offer an excellent primer on the basics of journalistic research that I would recommend to anyone, even if they don't like what he has to say.
Black Nerd Comedy: I'm actually watching the new TMNT show because of his enthusiasm. Bonus nod to Katie Wilson.
Eeeeeeepic Rap Battles of Historyyyyyyy: you all know who they are.
Mullet Mike: does a series called "Creepy Gaming."
Steve Shives: atheist film nerd who talks to stuffed animals sometimes.
Cinemassacre: Best known for the Angry Video Game Nerd, natch, but I'm a fan of the "James and Mike Mondays" series and have watched a few of Mike Matei's livestreams since YouTube gaming became a thing.

My favourites:

yahtzee19 - Yahtzee's personal Channel O' Fun. And playthroughs. And a LOT of swearing. :)
The Rageaholic (Razorfist) - I still don't entirely know why this guy hates Yahtzee, but his reviews are pretty entertaining anyway
Cole and Marmalade - 'cause cats are love
various Machinima ones
Simon's Cat
Ill Will Press - Foamy is our overlord. This is truth.
Cinemasins
LastWeekTonight
brentalfloss - VERY funny gaming songs

Oh man, matthewmatosis is great. And Demolition D is by far one of my favourite reviewers of anything really. I'm hoping he'll do a first impressions of the current season soon. There aren't many anime reviewers I really like but I don't mind most of glass reflection as well.

OT: A lot of my favourites have been mentioned, but a few others..

Windmill Slam - they do a bunch of Magic Online drafts and they often try to come up with pretty entertaining rules they make themselves follow.

Shooterwilliamson - a very, very australian youtube comedian.

penguinz0 - does brief letsplayish sort of things of what are usually really, really terrible games. Super funny but its a really dry and fairly immature sense of humour.

Nigma/ siractionslacks1/ bigplaysinc and more - all funny dota 2 videos

Another for Funahus. They make awesome videos that make me laugh. That's all you need. I don't really care for their views on the gaming industry and the like, but I can easily ignore that.

Funhaus is my favorite, but coming close behind are JonTron, The Angry Video Game Nerd, and Shoddy cast.

Lemme bring up my Youtube subscriptions (and I'll try not to repeat what anyone else brought up):

AdamWarrock - Kickass music based around comics and TV shows, a treat for the ears.

BennetTheSage - Reviewing the old and obscure anime, Sage takes you on a trip back to when anime wasn't quite so hot.

Bloodrunsclear - great fan trailers that takes clips from various sources and puts them together into one cohesive whole.

Chuggaconroy - Fun and informative Let's Plays, with plenty of enthusiasm to go around.

Caddicarus - video games with a British flair and sense of humor.

ItsJustSomeRandomGuy - Videos using action figures, mostly comedy but has branched off into telling awesome stories.

James Far - Awesome, awesome fan animations that mix nostalgic series into beautiful combos.

Josh Way - MST3K-Style shorts, perfect for your riff cravings.

NoahAntwiler - Yeah, I know, but I still love me some SpoonyOne reviews. I especially enjoy his Counter Monkey series in which he goes over the ups and downs of roleplaying games.

TFS Gaming (and anything else related to Team Four Star) - 'Nuff said.

There, that should tell what kind of things I'm into. Feel free to check out anything on this list, and I apologize if the quick descriptions are a bit... unfocused, I just put down a spur of consciousness description.

I obviously sub to a few channels, but one that's well worth a mention to anyone who's interested in film industry flavoured interviews with a twist (they're intelligent, subject oriented chats more than crass vanilla vending machine info mines) is David Poland's DP/30 [https://www.youtube.com/user/TheHotButton/videos] channel.

Here's a few pretty darn good examples:

(Jackson only really gets into the swing of things about halfway through, but it becomes a great watch)

To name a few:
Ashens for tat and poundland shenanigans,
Projared,
Brutalmoose,
(both for gaming reviews)
Yahtzee's personal channel,
Lazy Game Reviews I'd consider it the channel for classic games, the occasional unknown gem (for me anyway),
Maximillian Dude if you like fighting games,

Some more, but these are those I actually don't want to miss on all the content.

One day I will be shocked to find myself mentioned in one of these threads.

My list isn't really any different than it was a month or two ago when we last had this thread. Various Yogscast members, Game Grumps, Jim Sterling, Jesse Cox, Dodger, TotalBiscuit, Yahtzee, Chip & Ironicus, Retsupurae, LoadingReadyRun, Continue?, JonTron, itmeJP, and TomSka.

Mostly Let's Play stuff, some comedy skits, some critical content, that kind of stuff.

It deeply saddens me that a CTRL-F for VideoGamer didn't bring any results.

VideoGamerTV: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCR1wCXM9e7NshYfonwa5BAg

Has some of the best video game related humor I have ever witnessed. If you haven't heard of any of their work yet, I recommend starting with The Miller Report and try to watch them in order from oldest to newest because later episodes are very reliant on previous ones.

I'm not going to describe their channel to you, you deserve to see it for yourself, although I must admit their channel isn't very well organized. 7 Reasons Why... is another great series of theirs worth checking out.

Also I recommend the Onion's youtube channel, their recent stuff hasn't been as frequent but their back dated stuff often holds up and is worth watching. Their Week in Review videos are really good but are often funnier when topical (which none of them really are anymore) and their previous features like Today Now and In The Know are some of the best produced satires of modern television ever, and they seem to be becoming more accurate as they age. I really want them to bring back In the Know and at least Week in Review.

I'll second Demo as the funniest anime reviewer on YouTube. Goat Jesus is also fantastic, if you're looking for more serious, intellectual content. He has a wealth of Eva videos available.

The Bible Reloaded and Creationist Cat. TBR keeps a good line between being funny and smart. They have great movie reviews, and they do weekly atheist bible studies where they read the good book and then discuss it from an atheistic point of view. They're also free of a lot of the arrogance and Anger of other atheist commentators, like the Amazing Atheist. Creationist Cat is pure comedy. If TBR is the Daily Show, then CC is the Colbert Report. Still, he's insanely funny and light hearted.

I am always on Youtube. Other than videogames I would say that it is my primary form of entertainment:

vash12349
Yahtzee19
Bikdiponabus
Darkmindedsith
Wittzlife
Renaecollects
TheJWittz
Nightmind
Nintendocentral
Clearlakes44/Marblehornets
Griffinlobster
Odinspack33
TheGameTheorists

I do mainly watch Lets plays, but it is perfect background noise when I am doing something else, like cleaning or when I have to work from home (which tends to happen quite a lot, rather depressingly.)
