Favourite Video Game Vehicles

with all the "favourite" topics coming up lately i thought this one would be good too ^^ this includes land air sea and space vehicles or anything really that can be considered vehicle

MRLS(mobile rocket launcer system) (C&C Renegade)
Brute Chopper (halo 3)
Scorpion (UT2k4)

Warthog (Halo 1) - it couldn't blow up, when you hit it with another warthog it would be launched into a series of death-defying spins, and it also comfortably seated 3

The Go-Ped (Halo 3) I don't know what the real name of the damn thing is called, but all I know is that it's a one man tricycle that you can't shoot from and makes a funny noise.

Arwing (Star Fox) - I always liked arwings. Call me a sucker for an X-wing lookalike, but the thing could deflect incoming fire with a few presses of the R or L button.

Sweet Tooth from Twisted Metal.

BUT best vehicles ever, are from Vigilante 8 origonal and Second Offense.

ohyea, i remember Vigilante 8, brilliant game i used to play that and all the Twisted metals, was realy into car battles at the time it seems. mhm.. now i need to add at least one vehicle from that... Mr slam was fun.. Thumper too.... Axel sux >_> i know, MR. Grim !!

Bombers in BF1942. Nothing was quite as satisfying as dropping a couple bombs on some random guy's head as he runs.

The Mako (Mass Effect) is a good vehicle. So easy to scale cliffs, jump off mountains and jump over rockets. It has a sheild, machine gun and a huge turrent. It's fun to explore with... but the missions you get with it (Go from point A to B) are just so crap and annoy me. It's not exactly the most easy to manuver. While exploring, that's not really an issue, but while there are Geth there with the intent to blast you to the stone age, then yes, it is a huge issue!! If they got rid of those parts of the game or at least make them a bit different (more room to explore) then it would not be a problem. Other then that it's still fun to take on Thrasher Maws and explore huge lands.

The manta from UT04. Some people may view it as "an alternate way of getting around when the Leviathan is still spawning" but it's definitely my favorite hovering vehicle. What tops it above Halo's Ghost? Well, for starters it can "jump" meaning it doesn't have all the maneuvering problems. Secondly, it can instantaneously drop to the ground. Perfect for slaughtering your way through advancing infantry, or a very quick dodge of an attack.

The Wildcat Grav Cycle from Tribes 2. I love ridiculously fast vehicles.

Do mechs and space ships count as well? Because alot of video games spawn alot of really cool ships. And does it have to be from an FPS? I guess tactical games have a huge range of awesome vehicles. Has anyone played Total Anialation?

Definitely the Arwing. Nothing cooler than going into "All range mode" in StarFox 64 when you fight a big boss.

And the scorpion tank from Halo: Combat Evolved. All the covenant vehicles blowing up around you from a few cannon shots gives off an epic (and evil >:3) feel.

The arwing gets my vote, and so does the Warthog.

Other things I wouldn't mind owning though...
Protoss Scouts, Katamaris, The '69 Jefferson from Vigilante 8, Chaos Defilers, The Unreal Tournament Scorpion, The Highwind and Balamb Garden.

favorite vehicle? hmm...tough one. now i'm going to assume by "vehicle" you are referring to a mechanical device the "player" travels around in and is not limited to just cars and tanks. in which case, i'd have to say i'd choose the following:
Muscle car from HL2:E2
Original Warthog from Halo
Any mech from the MechWarrior series.
Naboo Starfighter from Rogue Squadron
Light cycles from Tron (especially in the PC game Tron 2.0)
The boot power-up from Super Mario Bros. 3 (does that count?)
and for some odd reason that I can't quite grasp, the trains from Half-Life 1.

You guys keep making me mention UT3 lol. It really is a good game despite the bad/buggy launch. The new Scorpion and the good ol' Manta are both fantastic.

Minion was great lol, I loved the way a tank that was three times the size of the other vehicles could go 500 miles per hour and turn on a dime. Not to mention his special was homing, took off like half your health, AND froze you. XD
