Fellow men of the Escapist: How much facial hair do you keep on?

My facial hair grows poorly and patchily at present (I'm twenty), so I don't keep any kind of facial hair. That is, I wouldn't, if I wasn't so lazy that I usually only shave once or twice a week. So I often have some very unattractive stubble going on.

I am required by my work to remain clean-shaven, but given the choice(during summer break for example) I favor a goatee.

I do the razor thing on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. I don't grow facial hair particularly well. I'm technically a ginger, but the hair on my head has darkened significantly as I've gotten older. On my face, though? WOOOOO! Full on ging look, right there. It clashes really weirdly, so I don't keep it. Plus, it's kind of patchy. It's just not a good look at all.

My facial hair only really grows around my chin and upper lip. It does ,however, get pretty thick pretty quickly. My sideburns are also really hard to manage. SO I just don't! I'm currently sporting a homeless look. I'll shave it if I have to for work, or if I'm going to some swanky party. Or maybe if I decide I wanna start dating again xP.

One letter off from being very appropriate.

For a time I wanted to grow a father time beard, but I just didn't have the patience, and the thing got really itchy the longer I let it get.

So I stay clean shaven for the most part

I'm not sure whether it's called a goatee or a van dyke, but basically I have the same facial hair as Walter white, minus the baldness.

I like to NOT shave, so I go about it maybe once a week. I keep my mustache because it's a pain to shave every time and since that looks kind of stupid/creepy on it's own I keep it a goatee much of the time.

I usually just go hairless everywhere, minus my head. It's just so much easier and effective to clean myself without all the body hair, so I don't let any hair on my body bar my hair grow past a millimeter or so typically. But there's also that I am only 19 at the moment, and I may come to appreciate the mature look that facial hair brings in time, but for now, I'm perfectly happy not having to heavily lather every spot on my body that would normally have large amounts of hair.

I have shit genetics, so i can only grow a mustache and goatee without patchiness. Every where else has entire continents between each wire of hair.

I don't shave often, only for special occasions (weddings, funerals etc. you can't pull of a tux when you have a beard). I can't grow a mustache (fuckin'genetics I'm 20 for Christ sake!) so it usually ends up a pretty stereotypical neckbeard ;P

<- picture of how it usually looks...
I am basically made of hair (full beard, mustache, and long hair to boot). The last time I shaved was in 2005 (also the last time I cut my hair short), and that was because you are right about one thing -- you can't pull off a tux with a beard.

Well considering Britain is well into a windy autumn and I work outdoors, the razor has been shelved. I like to keep tidy and trim but there will be no shaving from now until probably March.

I rock an awesome Clark Gable mustache.

Once while in public a young woman suddenly addressed me saying, "Oh my God! I hate mustaches, I would NEVER date a guy with a mustache!"
I regarded her calmly for a moment and then replied, "Well, that's good information but ponder this. If I meet someone who I'm interested in, and the mustache kills it for them, I can excuse myself, find a restroom and a razor and come back in ten minutes mustache-free. If you meet someone who you are interested in and being an overly opinionated, over-sharing twit kills it for them, what are YOU gonna do?"

I've worn a Stark since long before it was cool. I shave once a week, twice if I want to make an impression. I could grow a beard but my hairs are thick yet spread out so I'd come out looking homeless with a full beard. I only trim my Stark when it gets just long enough to obstruct eating. I hate food in my hair and hair in my food.

Keep it trimmed, keep it classy.

Haven't been clean-shaven since the end of high school.

The only thing I trim down is my mustache cause I find it irritating when I'm drinking and it feels like there's stuff in my drink but its just hairs from my face haha. So I have a full beard about 6 or so inches in length with a fairly short mustache but my lower lip is odd and because of that I have a natural line of hair right up the center of my lip and bare on both sides until my cheeks and chin pretty much, if that makes sense it's kinda hard to explain, but other than that it's pretty standard. I also have pretty long hair so I have people telling me i look like lynyrd skynyrd or zz top on a fairly frequent basis haha

What is this "shave" you speak of?[footnote]Whoa... Forum Déjà vu...[/footnote]

Yeah, never shaved... Never will... Now, maintaining my afro/facial combo I got going on my head? That's where the old-fashion electronic hair clippers come into play...

Everything must be even... at all times...
