Do want! Was trying my best not to get to hyped about it, but oh well. I was gonna buy it on release, but now I may just have to get over-excited aswell ^^

I know I've constantly remarked about looking forward towards FFXIII, but honestly...

...I don't think I can mentally prepare myself for what will inevitably be over two days worth of cut scenes.

But for those five minutes they'll let us actually push a button: that battle system looks fucking awesome!!

Also... TRON?!?

When I first watched this trailer I was disappointed in the music being Leona Lewis, but after the fifth time of watching it it's grown on me. It's very lacking on the instrumentals, though, and I'd think that's something a FF theme song would focus on.

Regardless, I have never been more excited for a game than this. Someone mentioned this trailer contains excessive spoilers; I hope not! I would love to see it get bigger than this. The fact that I could be so emotionally attached to a five minute trailer is amazing and I am extremely excited for FFXIII.

EDIT: And Snow looks like a total bad ass.

EDIT2: And reading the comments, I'm not going to flat out say anyone is wrong, but why anybody could consider the voice acting in this game "bad" is beyond me. I'd like to see the all-star line-up of games they are playing.

AHHHH! Get in! I'm so excited for this now, I didn't really enjoy the more recent FFs after 7 and 8, but hopefully this is going to take a step back to some AWESOME ASS STORY!

Totally pumped for this release. Can't wait.

For a game that's meant to be heavy on story, the acting sounds terrible, and the script dire... oh man... I've got a bad feeling about this.

What shoddy voice acting. And apparently fair dinkum Australia is in this world.
What is amusing is how pretty everyone looks. Like they are from the land of fairies, or the Dove totalitarianism with its compulsory products.

I would not want to adventure with this party, they seem sad and pathetic. For a group that spends so much time standing around awkwardly and moping, they are also pretty fluid and athletic. Never seen a dexterous emo before...

Alright I'll say it. That trailer was epic. I only knew a little bit about this game before seeing this but that trailer alone has made me want to buy the game

You know those statistics that say, "Men think about sex every six seconds," or something like that? Well if I had to guess I would say that at least 1000 FF arguments are occurring 24/7. And I gotta agree with the Joker on this one. "Why so serious?"

I liked the trailer. I really didn't dislike the song, but I think the trailer would have been better without it. It was like when I'm playing a game and a girlfriend or my mother would start talking to me. "It's not that I don't want to hear you mom/gf, but you just ruined this cutscene for me and now I have to reload my save and beat the boss AGAIN just to see what I missed! GF I'm trying to use my other five seconds efficiently, so shut up!"

But the trailer was heavy on the cutscenes. Which makes me afraid, like others here, that I will be watching more than playing. Then again I thought Xenosaga was a great movie.

As far as all the emo drama that was thrown at me, I liked it. That said I am pretty damn emo and I've actually changed my name to forget my past, so I can relate. But I know that not everyone can.

Don't ever tell your girlfriend/boyfriend to shut up no matter how involved you are in a game. You will regret it when that sixth second comes around.

the music and they way they're delivering their lines made seem like some sort of a Disney movie.

Okay, i'd prefer the usual piano thing it usually has going on, maybe some orchestral stuff, maybe, but leona lewis, seriously?
You're killing me...
Other that it's looking pretty nice, XII failed for me because i didn't get sucked into the story, VII and X did that perfectly, but i only got in at VII so my view's a bit twisted around.

I was somewhat interested in FF XIII originally, but this trailer has succeeded in putting me off ever so slightly. If it's not the Leona Lewis song they have chosen as the theme (I wonder if they picked this song for it fitting in with the theme of the game, or because you know, Leona Lewis was in one of those western talent TV programs, so she must be popular) it's the fact that it looks like we're stuck with whiny-ass teenagers trying to act all serious and grown up as they deliver abysmal dialogue.

Ah well, I suppose they have their audience for this kind of thing, so why not...
