So this happened once before, I uninstalled Adobe Flash Player and reinstalled it and it worked again, but now it's back and I can't fix it! ALL videos lag that I try to watch on Mozilla Firefox, Youtube as an example. They work fine on Internet Explorer which got the same Flash Player version installed. Now I've searched through Google for many different solutions, I've tried many things but non have worked so far, I'm exhausted from this, really, I got no energy left for it so that's why I'm now trying to actually consult one of the most competent forums on the web, you're welcome.

If you need any other info I'll be glad to offer it if I can, I have windows 7 and latest updates for Adobe Flash Player, Mozilla Firefox and the AMD driver some said could help.

The one who can help me will get an amazing, chocolate chip cookie! ...Which is kinda imaginary but still, haaaalp! D:

I'm having pretty much this exact same problem. Flash works dandy with Explorer, but with Firefox it lags lags up like hell.

When loading up a video on Youtube, for example, Firefox freezes and you can't scroll or click on things.

An attempt to scroll down takes effect ~10sec later. After another ~10sec of hovering the pause-button on the video, while the loading-wheel stutters, it highlights, and I pause the video.

After this the buffer-bar hops forwards a few steps in rapid succession, and after I hover the play-button for another ~10sec, I can play the video. Sometimes it stutters right away, and others it plays normally for a few seconds, but when it inevitably goes wrong, the sound continues as normal while the video freezes and the entire browser goes unresponsive, leaving me with the following options.

- Leave it on, whereby the sound continues in 15sec burts with 10sec pauses, and the video changes frame every 30sec.
- Close the window, waiting 30sec for it to take effect, often having the sound keep going for a bit beyond the window having disappeared.
- Ending the Firefox application via the task manager.

I've tried restoring my system to various points, and uninstalling/reinstalling several different versions of Flash and Firefox, to no avail. I'm currenly on FF12, and it has the same problems that 13 did. I can't be arsed to update lest I know it's going to make a difference

Does anyone know what to do?

I know the latest Flash Player has conflicts with Realplayer in Firefox. But not sure if that's what is causing you problems. I used to have to properly uninstall flash first every time I upgraded it for Firefox or I had issues.

This is also the reason I switched to Chrome for day to day internet stuff.
