Well, do you guys have any good ideas for a first date? I'm sixteen and this is the first "real" date I'd be going on, only downside is I don't know what to do with the girl.

I'd suggest teaching her how to use the search button ;)
Movies usually aren't good unless you're already friends, try some kind of cultural event.

I'm probably a bad source of advice, since my first date was lunch at Boll Weevil's and an afternoon playing The Sims, but...yeah, dinner is good.

Incidentally, what's your range like? Can you drive, or would you need a ride?

Movies weak, No talking, no getting to know each other, restaurant is good assuming you have table manners. Something like Mini-putt, Bowling etc, is a fun thing to do, then she starts to associate you with fun. This is a good thing, A walk on a beach/park is good, try to be creative about it, but at the same time don't try to hard. Woman can sense that.

EDIT* by try to hard, I mean like, don't Overdo it, don't seem crazy.

Food is always good from a female perspective. Don't do anything that will highlight anxieties or fears if you can help it. But the more social the activity, the better.

Underwater ice badminton. ;)

Just keep it simple. Pick a few activities: food, bowling, walk at the park, etc. Doesn't really matter as long as you can socialize while doing them.

I would say a movie. Something lighthearted, comedic. Try and find something you'll both enjoy, as that will get you both relaxed and have some topic for discussion. After that dinner at someplace casual. No fast food and nothing super expensive. For hot summer days, an ice cream parlor would do well (assuming you have one nearby.)

First off, roses (red ofc) are you friend, so bring them.
Dinner is always good (you're paying ofc), and maybe take her on a picnic.

Blah you guys are so boring, movie is so generic. You should do something to really get her attention.

I live near the ocean, so I'd take her snorkeling, bathing suits, sun, adventure and of course rumpunch. Of course not everyone lives on the coast, but the key is being creative. A movie is something you do with a girl you've been seeing awhile and you're comfortable with. First dates you want to be impressive, not boring.

Movies followed by dinner works pretty well.

When you're at the mivoe theater, you're doing something, without actually "interacting" with each other, so you can't screw up, well...you can if you try but.. then afterwards you're glad cause you've just had fun and now you have somethign obvious to talk about (the movie doh)

I know the movies are generalized with the sneaky laying an arm around her/on her thing, or makingout in the car (drive in) but you don't have to act like someone FROM a movie.

Otherwise you could just watch a movie at your/her place, then you can talk when you fell like it, but since you're also watching a movie, silence won't be that awkward.

Otherwise just do something you'll both find funny, without actually requiring the two of you to talk non-stop. Talking is a lot easier once you've done a few things (not talking sex) togeather, cause it's like you know each other betetr, so you're not that worried about saying something that might sound dumb.

This is from the assumption that you don't really know each other.

Also, it was freaking hard to write all this without slipping in a sexist comment about "I don't know what to do withthe girl"

Part of it depends on where you live, but do something fun. It doesn't have to be overly unique just enjoyable. Just don't spend so much money that it looks like your trying way too hard.
But the best advice I can give you is that it doesn't matter where you go just relax, be yourself, and have some fun. (and if you get lucky congratulations.)

A movie is great.
If you're going with friends, I suggest mini-golf.

Start with something light and less pressure.. a lunch date at a cafe or outside coffee shop is a really good 'get to know you' starting point that won't bust your wallet, then if you get along well, ask for a night out.

Going out for coffee has gotten me the best results. You just go out, grab something to drink (hot chocolate, if you can't handle coffee), sit down and talk with her. Make sure you pay for her drink, too. Otherwise, I'd suggest dinner. I definitely wouldn't suggest a movie for the first date, considering you don't get to talk much. Since relationships are all built on communication, and you don't talk when watching a movie, it's not the best call.

Just sit her down somewhere, enjoy a meal or a coffee or whatever, go for a walk, and talk to her. Get to know her better. It's a quick way to show that you are interested, and also to get to know her better, which is always a good thing.

Get coffee and talk. Maybe go to an art gallery type place. The distillery district in Toronto's a very cool place to walk around. Market places are cool too. It's summer. Stroll around while you can.

S&M and Bondage.... that was my first date anyway, she put on the leather uniform of the dominitrix and the whip... and I knew it was true love after she walked over my bleeding back in stilleto heels.

Okay that worked for ME but as for you... I'd say go to the zoo, that means you can walk around and talk about things whilst observing the surroundings I say that's a sure thing.
