He started off the chorus by YELLING AT US. What a badass.

And I loved the shoutout to the old Morrowind theme. Nearly made me nostalgia-cry.

Does the whole "Dragonborn" thing mean we actually get to be the hero as opposed to the hero's assistant this time?
finally I hated being an assitant to the Martin the TRUE HERO......now we are the BADASS hero that hopefully kills a final evil boss

I can tell that your main character is gonna be a badass killing dragons, bandits, Ice wraiths and all kinds of shit, all at the same time.......also the dragon shouts look awesome and this video gives me the chills everytime XD

Gonna be a kickass year for gaming (Until the drought X( )

Man, I wish I had the scratch to get together a sweet PC rig just for this. Guess I'll just sit in the corner, playing the vanilla on my 360... ( ._.)

Still, it looks pretty nice, and from the GI article, Bethesda has taken notice of some of the more . . . irritating bits of gameplay. This'll be a Day 2 buy for me (just in case it totally bombs).

I very rarely get convinced by trailers to give a game a try...but I must say, this one certainly was one of them. Not sure how the gameplay will be or if indeed the environments will be this awesome throughout the game, rather than reverting to Oblivion's style after you leave the initial areas, though still...it certainly got me looking. Great work to whoever did this trailer.

Holy crap.
I'm not even going to try to put into words how excited I am for this game now. Fuck my exams, I'm getting this as soon as it comes out in November!

Holy shit, that's a good trailer. If you took it back in time to the day I got my Xbox 360 and told me it was a 2015 trailer for an Xbox 720 game, I would definitely believe you. I find it hard to believe an engine can actually look that nice.

At this point, my Bethesda warning light flashes and I wonder how many times they'll have to patch it before it's worth playing on console.

Is this what a game causing orgasm feels like?

It looks like they've learnt that when I sneak up behind someone I want to kill them instantly, not take away a bit of health :D
Also looks like cod graphics built in, very nice.

First thought: Dear sweet baby Jesus, I'm moist.

Second thought, upon witnessing the ending segment: THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!

First Skyrim Trailer Shows Off In-Game Hotness

The first in-game trailer for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim [http://www.amazon.com/Elder-Scrolls-V-Skyrim-Pc/dp/B004HYIAPM/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1298562980&sr=8-3] is out, and it is going to rock your morning and possibly your afternoon as well.

I don't want to throw off your vibe, so just go ahead and watch. We can talk about it later. Really, I'll wait.

Okay! So what do you think? In one sense it's very standard Elder Scrolls stuff: narration courtesy of a distinguished actor with an awesome voice, sweeping landscapes, bombastic music, third-person action and a world-ending cataclysm that can only be stopped by one man (or woman) of pseudo-divine birth. It's Oblivion Redux [http://www.amazon.com/Elder-Scrolls-IV-Oblivion-Game-Pc/dp/B000V9C9FO/ref=sr_1_2?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1298563217&sr=1-2], a technologically sexed-up expansion of the northern regions of Cyrodiil.

[video=2806]

And you know what? I don't care! Nobody does! Based on this trailer, Skyrim will be exactly what we expect and that's just fine with me. It's The Elder Scrolls, and it's freakin' awesome.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim comes out on November 11, 2011 for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Apart from the running stream the stuff that looked like actual gameplay shots looked amazing.
Well ok maybe not the best ever but it's pretty damn nice. Excitement officially heightened.

Imagine this game on a fully beefed up PC!
That's exactly what I'll be playing this on. And it's really not that expensive, why not get one in the next six months? You don't need an absolute top-of-the-line cutting edge video card, and going one or two steps down from cutting-edge will halve the cost of the whole PC. I just hope either they fix the poor-looking water before release, or the water looks better on PC.
As for the rest of that trailer, well, my reaction on another thread about this was:

My trousers exploded listening to Max von Sydows rough, gruff tones. Ah...you could just fall into that voice and feel same forever.

So how much does this trailer tell us about the game --> shit!!! wooo
Instead of showing the game mechanics to us it just looks like a showing of some cgi development, totally uninformative

This gave be goose bumps. Insanely sweet. I hope that camera bob when running first person stays. It looks like your character will have a bit of weight in this one, I hated how light the characters were in the previous games.

It looks great, it looks awesome, but that helmet, that looks THE shit.
Fixed...

I dunno, I just love barbarian/viking-esque armour.
Ha. ;)

Vikings didn't have horns in their helmets. It leaves so much of the head unprotected (jaw, neck), it has no padding or chain. Structurally speaking it looks like a weak, rough sort of light helmet. There are many types of bascinet, morion or gothic helms that look a lot better, and would do the job a lot finer (bearing in mind you are trying to protect against dragon bite).

But we are not entirely in disagreement, I do like barbarian themed armour when it looks imposing, composite and unique.

Or burgonets! (throw in a search of those)

http://dessalles.com/2010/08/02/burgonet/
But he's not a viking, he's a Nord.

Yes, I know they're inspired by vikings, and YES, I know about that helmet thing, but he's NOT a viking.
