One would HOPE that if this ends up being another "can spread for 2 weeks while being asymptomatic" super-infectious disease, we'll all be much more prepared and reasonable abo- *pfffffftttt* Yeah, right. We'll fuck this one up too if it goes badly.

Dunno. Lots of place are in some form of lockdown with closed borders due to covid already, which presumably would be a good response to this. Of course, some places can't get that right even without this.

Bubonic plague outbreak in Chinese city

Authorities in the Chinese region of Inner Mongolia have stepped up precautions, 24 hours after a hospital in the area reported a case of bubonic plague.
