Now you see I was all on-board with this until I read that little 'please pay us $3 a month, on-top of all the other money you say us to use the app and you pay $X amount to buy it first' bit // Now I think all my auctioning can wait till I login to the game

You only need to pay to interact with it. I'm cool with that, will be fun if you can get little alerts on your iphone when somthing sells.

I think it's kind of stupid honestly. Some realms already have enough of a problem with certain people manipulating the AH to keep a monopoly on certain items or controlling prices (yes it's dumb, but it happens and it's extremely annoying to other players on those realms). This is just going to make it that much easier for them to mess with the AH now that they can do it from their job or school or wherever.

Yeah, I remember a while ago some guy found a way to stream WoW from his home PC to his smart phone. It only got 3 fps but I'm pretty sure you can post and check auctions with that. Btw I'm pretty sure he did that for free
