Gigabash & Predecessor will be free at Epic Games Store until December 13th at 5PM (your local time). As always, you can get the game through the link above, or straight from the Epic Games launcher. Either way, the game will be added directly to your Epic Games library.

Wait... predecessor is free on epic game service?!

This is actually super interesting because it started as a game (under a different name) made by epic, their F2P smite like (think 3rd league of legend). It came out around the time that fortnite blew up, and epic swore up and down they weren't going to close it down to shift developer onto fortnite... which they obvious did like 2 week after saying that. iirc, a group of dedicated fan managed to convince epic to give (maybe buy?) the code so they could relaunch it, and somehow that happened (can the same thing happen to battleborn plz?).

I wonder what the behind the scene was like for this to appear free on epic.
