From there on it's straightforward, just click the "add to account button" for Steam, or 'buy' it on the Microsoft Store to add the game to your account.
Also, I'm guessing that being free on the Microsoft Store means it's also free on Xbox One and Xbox Series, but since I don't have any of those, I can't tell for sure. If one of you champs could confirm this for us, that'd be swell.
