Got nothing much to say this week. Today, for you:

[HEADING=2]The Bridge [https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/product/the-bridge/home][/HEADING]

The Bridge will be free at Epic Games Store until January 30th. As always, you can get the game through the link above, or straight from the Epic Games launcher. Either way, the game will be added directly to your Epic Games library.

The Bridge is a logic puzzle game that forces the player to reevaluate their preconceptions of physics and perspective. It is Isaac Newton meets M.C. Escher. Manipulate gravity to redefine the ceiling as the floor while venturing through impossible architectures.

Have a look if interested and enjoy.

Next weeks Epic Game Store giveaway will be Farming Simulator 19 starting January 30th.

Out of curiosity, has Uplay just stopped offering freebies altogether? I can't remember the last time one of these threads featured them

Iirc, the last one specifically for Uplay was AssCreed Unity after the Notre Dame fire back in april. Though there have been other freebies of Ubisoft games last year on other platforms like For Honor on Steam and Rayman Legends on Epic. Those require Uplay to run on top. Don't know if that counts in your opinion.

Technically there was one other Uplay giveaway, AssCreed Chronicles China for Chinese New Year; but that was only available in specific countries, and I saw comments that some people who circumvented with VPNs got their Uplay accounts banned. Didn't know for sure if true, but one of my basic rules is that freebie offers should be available worldwide, so I didn't post it.

That said, Ubisoft freebies were never that frequent anyway. Tho still better than the other big players. I can probably count the offerings from EA, Take Two and Bethesda on one hand. Don't think Activision has ever done one. Guess generosity is not in their nature, except maybe an old game via GOG. Xbox Game Pass or other premium subs offering "free" games needn't apply. Ok, WB Games gave away like 6 Batman games in one go via the Epic store, but that's kind of a cheap way to get ahead and Epic probably threw a bunch of that Fortnite money their way.
