Today, for you:

[HEADING=2]The Stanley Parable [https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/product/the-stanley-parable/home] & Watch_Dogs [https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/product/watch-dogs/home][/HEADING]

The Stanley Parable & Watch_Dogs will be free at Epic Games Store until March 26th. As always, you can get the game through the link above, or straight from the Epic Games launcher. Either way, the game will be added directly to your Epic Games library.

The Stanley Parable is a first person exploration game. You will play as Stanley, and you will not play as Stanley. You will follow a story, you will not follow a story. You will have a choice, you will have no choice.
As Aiden Pearce, a brilliant hacker, turn Chicago into the ultimate weapon in your quest for revenge. But what happens when your personal quest collides with an entire city?

Have a look if interested and enjoy.

Huh. I've kind of always wanted to try watchdogs. Guess my time is now.

...

Anyone else ever say that and then realize that the game they're referencing is like half a decade old? I was so curious at the time and then I guess life happened.

That's how it is for me with 99% of games. Now that Doom Eternal is out, I realized I've been meaning to play Doom for 4 years now.

Also thanks Chimpzy, I guess it's time to try this Epic store thing. I've been looking for a GTA style game that isn't GTA.

Nice. I?ve always wanted to try Stanley Parable but not enough to actually spend money on it. Mainly intrigued on the fact it sounds different from most of anything.

This is one of those times where I probably won't bother. I picked up and played the Stanley Parable(good game, BTW) when it came out and I've had numerous oppurtunies to pick up Watch Dogs for cheap and just can't seem to care enough to do so. Even free feels like "Well, sure, but I've got so many other games I'm backlogged on that I'm far more interested in".

I got Stanley Parable, it will be a nice break from my current play of Borderlands 3. I'll say this for Watch Dogs. It has a lot of potential... and delivers very little on its own. I can see a half dozen design choices and gameplay loops from this game being used to make a much better game. And the sequel is ok, but isn't that "better game." It is worth a look for free. Once you get used to it the stealth is a good stealth system. The hacking is ludicrously nonsensical and oversimplified... but fun in a "sets acme trap" gameplay loop I haven't seen so well done since the Tecmo's Deception series. And the world is populated and more "alive" than any other open world setting I've ever seen. The story is garbage and the characters are weakly generic stereotypes to go along with a entirely predictable plot... but just don't go in expecting that itch to be scratched and there's plenty in WD to like. And luckily, plenty to do even if you are completely overwriting the canon story in your head or are ignoring it completely.

Or to put it simply, in games where there is a hybrid action/stealth approach... it is one of only a couple of games where multiple approaches seem fun to me. I've had equal fun and challenge in playing Watch Dogs in complete pacifist mode, and playing as shooty mcbloodsplatter.

I might have snagged Watch Dogs 2 if that were free, but not gonna bother with the first.

I already own The Stanley Parable on Steam and like it quite a bit... but whatever, I might as well have it on another service.

Stanley Parable is supposed to have an 'Ultra Deluxe' edition coming out this year with additional content.
