Well, this saved me the trouble of buying it on Steam. Be aware: This game will run your system pretty hard. My CPU and GPU both reach above 70 degrees with the "High" graphics preset.

And it's recommended specs are a quad core and gtx760? Optimistic much?

I discovered the problem: Absent any kind of frame-limiting setting like Vsync, the game will run flat-out as hard as it can. It was rendering 190 frames per second (and apparently simulating the wildlife at that speed) whereas my monitor is set to 120FPS.

Oh, ok. But that's not weird, is it? I never use vsync, but if I turn off the frametime sync in rtss, any game starts running as hard as it can too, regardless of what my monitor is set to. Unless it's one of those game that has an engine level hard cap.
