Good news everyone!

It'll be great to see some new adventures of the Planet Express crew. And Zoidberg [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/AndZoidberg].

Hopefully it doesn't go the way of Family Guy and get old and repetitive after a few too many years. But I think they'll know when to call it quits, and will do it in style. Which I think Green Yonder was supposed to do, but whatever.

More Futurama= Lower Suicide Rates Worldwide.
The last episode I saw of the simpsons was the one where the guy screams, "They cancelled Futurama" and is about to jump when the old man of the mountain collapses.
Poor guy...
I know which one you're talking about; where Mr. Burns gets crushed by a rockslide, escapes, and monopolizes the media? Good times.

I personally like Bender's cameo in "Future-Drama".

"ALL RIGHT! You guys are my new best friends!"
"You wish, loser" *throws Bender out of the car, he breaks on contact with the road*

Man, I was just about to give up on Futurama after their last movie came out. Nice to know there are some execs out there that can recognize a good series when they see one. Take that Box Network!

The last episode of the series one was of the best episodes I've seen of any tv series ever. It was a great way to end the show, but I'm happy to hear it's coming back though.

Well, you know, I knew it had happened with Family Guy, so I decided that, even though I could watch the reruns ad nauseum on the TV, no matter what, I bought every single DVD they made. All four movies, all four seasons. And now they're cming back! I cannot WAIT for the new episodes.
Wow, you're like the perfect person to have the first reply to this topic.

The biggest problem I see with the show coming back, is that it can no longer relate to current events...

I mean Fry is from 2000, not 2010, so they can't play off of all the recent events like the Simpsons or Family Guy can. Hell, I remember watching the rerun of the Lucy bots and thinking.. "Lucy Liu.. damn I haven't seen her in the spotlight for a long time". Or even watching the Star Trek episode, now with the new Star Trek movie out.

I love Futurama, but it seems like the plot has kind of limited its ability to relate to today's 'now'

THERE IS A GOD! THANK YOU JESUS!

EDIT: BTW, do you think they'll take what happened in The Wild Green Yonder into account?

[spoiler/] It ended with Fry and Leela kissing as the planet express team went though a worm hole into another dimension [/spoiler]

Maybe they will, maybe they won't, but it'd certainly be interesting to see what was on the other side.

In happier news, Morbo is pleased to report thousands of human lives have been exterminated.
*annoying laughter from female news anchor*

When this show got cancelled, it broke my heart. This is excellent news, indeed.

And some of those DVD sales and rerun popularity figures are from me, y'know!

So YOU'RE WELCOME!

Morbo would also like to thank the petty humans who viewed the DVDs. Your deaths shall be quick and painless.

Finally!. Futurama is hilarious and Matt Groening (Or however it is spelt) should stop making Simpsons and make Futurama. And although watching Zoidberg cut off Fry's arm like 200 times Is funny, It is starting to get boring so Im more than happy they're making more Episodes
What's wrong with the Simpsons I like both equally.
