FX Orders Pilot of Superhero Cop Drama Powers

Bendis should have written the script for the pilot. But who cares... my favorite series is becoming a tv show! Fuck yes!! right?

Is it really that good?

Well i like it very much. But as i understand, its not for everyone. and first 5 to 10 issues is somewhat boring but it gets really awesome after a while.

Ah, blame the Internets. It's hard to convey tone, I guess. My bad.

What I mean is that I was actually asking you if it was 'that good'. The Walking Dead, being what it is, lends itself very well to TV format; but since I don't know almost anything about Powers I thought I'd ask.

Mind you, I've heard nothing but good things about it, but I'm not too versed on the subject.

i thought you were asking something like that but i went with the simplest of the choices it can very well be adapted to a tv show. it has great potential for a comic book series. It can be a classic if done right... Thats my opinion of course.. we all will see.

I'm psyched for this. I have some of the Graphic Novels of the series, and I've read many more of them. In the comic, Christian Walker had powers and lost his, and Deena had none and eventually finds herself cursed with them. But most of their cases involve supers dying and them investigating what happened. I don't know how close they will stick to the storyline of the comics, though. They had one which revealed Walker's origin and it was kinda freaky and out there.
