In light of the 'Community Photoshop Challenge' I started to think about what two games would make the best gaming hybrid.
You can mash-up the games in whatever way you want with a merging of plot-lines, a blend of characters or a fusion of locations.
More than two games is allowed.
I'll tell you my idea as soon as we get to 50 posts so get typing :D

Combo between Oblivion and Dead Space. I'd love to see a fantasy RPG horror-like survival game. :D

I've no good answer for you.

The thing is, I've come to learn that while merging two games is easy in your head, making the merged result of two games fun is remarkably hard to do in practice. You essentially destroy the integrity of what made the original things work.

Quake 3 and . . . . . . well Quake 3 is just perfect on its own!

How about GTA and Watchmen: The End Is Nigh [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watchmen:_The_End_is_Nigh]? Basically, if the Watchmen game was open-world. And let you unlock Dr. Manhattan as a playable character.
