Today the US Appeals Court ruled that laws from the state of California requiring video games to carry a label stating that the game is not meant to be sold to or played by anyone under the age of 18 was unconstitutional. The law was signed into effect in 2005 by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger but it was held up in lower courts until 2006. Is this a major victory for the gaming industry in the US, or is it just another minor battle in a never ending war between the younger generation and the establishment?
